TIME SKIP TO THE DATE

sarah's pov

jack had told me that we would be going skating for our first date.

i wore my black leggins with long white nike socks. i also put on jack's usa hockey jersey that he gave me the other day.

i walked to the living room and grabbed my keys.  jack was already by the door waiting.

"that sweater looks good on you" he said with a smile.

"thanks!" i smiled back.

we made our way to my truck and began to drive to the ice rink.

i knew how to skate so i was excited.

we pulled up to the rink and we made our way to the front where we picked up our rental skates.

he tied his skates really fast. it was unnatural.

i tied mine relatively fast, but still a lot slower than jack.

"pitter patter lets get at'er" i said.

"you watch letterkenny?" he asked.

"of course i watch letterkenny ya goof" i said stepping onto the ice.

i forgot how much fun skating was. my friends hated skating.

losers.

"you good?" he asked.

"yeah its great out here!"

jack was showing off by skating backwards, front crossovers, back crossovers, etc.

i laughed at him trying to impress me.

for a girl who lives in florida, i was skating pretty fast.

we skated together and talked about letterkenny.

"favorite character?" he asked.

"hmmmm, probably stewart or shoresy." i responded.

"stewart's hilarious." he said.

"i know, remember when wayne threw a baseball at him and he cried?" i asked.

"classic"

we kept talking and eventually held hands as we skated around the rink.

we eventually went to the middle of the rink and he held onto me.

"he sarah"

"jack"

"will you be my girlfriend?"

i smiled.

"of course!"

i held onto him tighter until he pulled me in for a kiss.

i couldnt ask for a better moment.
