Love Through Text (Sonadow)

Chapter 27

Shadow's P.O.V.

It had passed over a month and there was still no sign of him. I tried texting him and calling him, I wasnt the only one. Rouge and Rose were helping me as well to look for him. I had searched the entire town and the cities around, Eggman even attacked and he didnt show up. 

"He is taking this very seriously." Rouge said and I sighed. 

"I am never going to find him, he is really good at hiding." i mumbled and rubbed my face annoyed and desperate to find him. I wanted tot ell him how I felt even if he didnt feel the same. 

"Come on Hun, lets go with Tails again and see if he has found anything about where he is at." Rouge said and I slowly nodded. 

"Come on, Shadow. You will find him, it is just a matter of time." She grabbed my hand and squeezed it. I nodded and pulled it away not liking people touching me. Rose and I started talking and became friends, but I'm not a person who likes to be hugged or touched in any way. 

Sonic's P.O.V. 

"Sonic!" Tails yelled excitedly and hugged me. "I havent seen you in a month! What happened?" 

I chuckled and hugged back. "I have been around, I just came to pick up my stuff. I have to leave right after. Do you mind if I come in?" I asked and he shook his head. 

"Why do you have to leave?" He asked as I walked to my room, basically shouting. 

"Well, remember Bunnie? She recently got a divorce and we met up!" I grabbed my stuff and started walking to the living room. My ear flickered at hearing something, but I had a few boxes covering my sight so I shrugged it off and put the boxes down by the door. "We are going out to dinner in a bi-" I looked up and I pinned my ears down at seeing Shadow, Amy and Rouge in between me and Tails. There was a bit of a distance between all of us. 

"What are you doing in my house?!" Tails asked but he was ignored. I felt my heart break just by seeing Shadow. I stuttered and took a step back. I grabbed the boxes again, only a few so I could still see ahead of me this time. 

"I am leaving. Sorry." I turned around and walked to my car. I turned it on and unlocked it as I packed my things in the trunk. I bent down to grabbed the last box but someone had already taken it. I looked up and then took a step back at seeing Shadow. "I just came for my stuff, I swear. I am already on my way out." I grabbed the box from him and put it in my car, I was going to close the door but he stopped me from doing that. I looked behind him and I saw Amy, Rouge and Tails inside looking by the window. As soon as they saw me looking at them, they closed the curtains, I looked up at Shadow. "W-What?" 

"Dont leave." He quickly said.

"What? B-But you...yelled at me that..." I was cut off. 

"I am sorry." He sighed. My ears perked up at that. He never apologized. 

"You never apologize." Did he mean this? Or was he just messing with me?

"I know... And I mean it... Dont leave and I am sorry for what I did." I looked at my car then at him. 

"Why not?" I asked and grabbed the handle for the driving seat.

"Because I love you." He quickly said it and lowered his ears. I looked up at him again quickly not believing what he had said. 

"What...? N-no you dont..." My eyes were becoming watery thinking he was messing with me. He was just playing with my feelings. I shook my head and tried to open the door but Shadow closed it immediately and took away my keys. 

"I know... I snapped at you, and told you to leave and all but... In reality... I do love you... I did catch feelings for you a-and..." He sighed and grabbed my chin then leaned in and kissed me, I tensed up and pushed him away. Tears were streaming down my muzzle again like the day he punched me and told me to leave him. 

I was going to say something, more like stutter my way out when I got a call. I looked at my phone and hesitantly answered when I saw it was Bunnie. "Sonic? Where are you? Arent you supposed to be fast? Why are you late?" She whined and I cleaned my tears but more kept coming. "I am waiting in your room, Chuck let me in." 

"I-I...I am...S-So...Sorry...Bunnie... I had a problem with my car..." I stuttered, cleared that I was crying. 

"Oh, Honey, are you okay?" She asked clearly worried. 

"I will get there late, tell Manic to take you out, I am sorry." I looked at Shadow and he leaned closed and caressed my cheek and cleaned my tears. I pushed his hand away. "I will get home late, I am so sorry." I hung up and looked at Shadow again. 

"W-Who is she...?" I knew he hesitated to ask that question. 

"A very close friend of me and Tails..." I explained and looked at the floor. "Dont lie to me. Dont play with my feelings. I wont take this. Give me my keys and I will leave. I know you are just messing with me because you saw me when we agreed you would never see me again. Dont worry, I will leave you alone now. But faking feelings is going too far..." I tried to get my keys but he grabbed my hand instead then my chin and made me look at him again. I cried. 

"I am not, Sonic. I am not faking my feelings. I promise...Rouge and Rose made me realize how wrong is what I did... I really... Do have feelings for you... I really do..." He said and I covered my face with my hands. 

"Stop...Stop!" I shouted and he uncovered my face, he had his ears pinned down. 

"I mean it, Sonic. I really do." He whispered gently and calmly as he looked at me in the eyes. "I know..." I saw tears forming in his eyes. "I know... that you are not going to give me another chance since I blew the only chance I had...but... can you... at least... forgive me...?" He stuttered and let a tear roll down his muzzle. He meant it. He really did. "Please..." He asked. 

I bit my lip and shook my head. I grabbed the keys from his hand, opened the door of my car and took a seat in the driving seat as I turned on my car. I hit the driving wheel with my hand and I sighed then shook my head as I cried.
