It was really over.
For Rebecca who had been silent as she sat on the empty hall of the locker room while all of the others went out to have fun, she decided to have her little drama in that hall.
She's been crying for the past two hours and lucky enough, no one had ever step foot of the hall and if there would be, they'd probably think Rebecca was out of her mind, probably weird or crazy.
She was resting her head on her knees, as she hugged them tight, rocking herself in the area.
The hall was silent, and so is comforting for her own judgement.
Still crying, she immediately heard footsteps coming in her way. She incontinently stop herself from crying and control herself from sobbing. To her surprise, the person sat beside her, not saying a single word. Becky didn't even bother to look up that the person, thinking that the person would eventually go away without gathering information about her.
"You seem very sad tonight." She was surprise to hear a man's voice, deep voice to be exact. She look up, seeing a guy with a curly hair down to his shoulders, with a highlight of blond on his left side, while the rest of his strand is black.
"Why do you care?" Rebecca asked, trying to be uninterested to the purpose of the guy. "If you're planning on something, you better just walk off."
She rest her head back again, as her heart began to palpitate, being annoyed for the second and nervous at the same time. The guy didn't answer instead, stayed beside her. She starts to calm down and for a brief moment, she felt like she needed someone to talk to. She needs to get that hard feelings out of her heart, and that guy is just right on time.
"Everyone decides to leave me." She started, making her look up and turn to the guy, as well as the guy catches her glance. Upon staring at each other, Rebecca felt something inside of her, unsure of what it is.
"Well, not everyone wants to stay. But leaving doesn't mean not wanting to go back."
"Well, why did they left if they want to be back?"
"We all have our reason."
"How can you say that? Were not the same.."
"Trust me, I've been in there, a couple of times.. And trust me, it wasn't worth forgetting... And, remembering as well." He said that made Rebecca out of words.
"Well, Charlotte and I got into a fight... We've been feuding here for that stupid title and now, the deal was to claim the title and the winner gets a chance to debut on WWE."
"Is Charlotte a friend of yours?" He ask.
"BEST friend." She said, emphasizing the first word. "And tonight is my chance to prove to the world that I am more than being here at NXT."
"Then prove yourself a worthy wrestler to the spot."
"I lost..."
"What?"
"I'm guessing you haven't watch the full show." She said, being annoyed again.
"I'm sorry. I was just occupied for my match that time... So what happened?"
"As what we've talked about, the winner gets the spot, and she did."
"So, why are you crying? You should be celebrating with your friend."
"I want to but suddenly, she decided to forget about me."
"Well that was painful."
"I know.." She sniffs, wiping her nose with her bare arm. "And I want a rematch.. But, that is not what we've talked about."
"So.. What are your plans now?"
"I need to get my spot... And avenge myself as well."
"Just remember I'd be always here for you."
"Thanks... So, why are you here?"
"I lost too." He said, not hesitant. "Turns out were on the same page."
"Planning to avenge too?"
"A part of me, yes.."
"Why?"
"Because I don't actually avenge. We all fall back, and all we gotta do is stand back up again and hustle hard."
"Lucky for you you're tough."
"You're tough yourself. Maybe you just need to clear your mind first??"
"I will... Thanks.." She said and heard him sigh. "Is there something you still wanna tell me?" She ask.
"My girlfriend broke up with me right after the match..."
Surprised Rebecca, she looks at the guys all over appearance, realizing he's wearing a formal outfit.
"On a date?" She ask and all he did is nod.
"F*ck. That's even worse than I think."
"Figured out she can't accept me at my worst and failures." He said, looking down at his shoes. Feeling hurt for him, Rebecca rest her hand on his shoulder, squeezing it tightly. "You'll get over that soon." She said.
"I know.. That's why you also need to just let go and move on and stand back up and hustle hard." He said, finally standing up. Rebecca look up to his tall figure.
"By the way, I should give you this then..." He said, reaching out the bouquet from his other hand. Rebecca didn't see that though, but still accept his flowers.
"This is my first time to receive a flower from a stranger.."
"I'll never be a stranger to you anymore after tonight..." He said, walking out of the hall.
"Wait!" She said and he stops.
"Can I at least know your name? I've been here for almost 7 months and still haven't made a progress of knowing a lot of personalities, thinking that I'm too weird."
He then let's out a chuckle..
"You weren't weird for me in fact, I think we could make a good friendship." He say.
"How can we be best friends if we haven't properly introduced?... I'm Becky by the way. What is your name?"
"Want my real name or my ring name?" He ask. Rebecca doesn't know what to reply and all she received is a smile coming from him.
"You can just call me... Rollins..."
And that is when Rebecca remembers that he was Seth Rollins... He is the guy that had a NXT Championship match earlier, and had won..
"Hey! You said you lost in your match! Were you just making fun out of me!?" Rebecca asked frustrated as what she had just realized. Colby didn't look back instead, walk fiercely until he was out of her sight.
"That guy is really getting into my nerves.." She said to herself.
