My parents came running to me followed by Mr grumpy who is my brother.
"Tell us baby, did you get it" my mom asked
Yes mommy, I'm so excited I wouldn't have done it without you guys I told them, "it's all hard work sweetheart " my dad said.
I was more than excited to start my new job, this is what I had worked for my whole life,i was becoming someone in life, my parents were so proud of me, I knew I'd made them proud after graduating in college but this was also a big achievement for me.
I had to call my best friend so we could celebrate but I knew that if I called her she would want us to go clubbing which was not my thing,id do it today for her, I love that girl, she also motivated me to go for the interview and I owed her, big time if I may say.
I went to my bedroom and called Venus, my girlfriend meaning my bestfriend ,she picked her phone on the fourth ring, girl do you keep your phone in the bin or what, I asked her jokingly. Guess who got a job, I screamed on top of my voice "you"she said,on top of her voice, that girl could be loud no wonder we kicked it off on the first day in college.
She was my day one,i could not picture myself with another best friend who is not her, she is tall, long legs, and blonde, boys drool over her but she's got an I don't care attitude and a free spirit, she speaks her mind so no boys get into her pants easily because she intimidates them.
I don't know how we became friends because we are polar opposites, she's wild and care free whereas I'm this reserved girl and close to being Miss prim as she says, she studied fashion and design in college and she's aspiring to become a Victoria's Secret model. I know she'll make it because she has had the passion since birth. Right now she stays wi5 her parents but she is planning to move out and she has always wanted us to share an apartment but I told her that we would move in together if I got a job.
"Girl we should totally go clubbing tonight, I'll pick you up tonight at seven,im bringing you a dress so don't wear anything of yours " she said.
