A Whole New World

"What are we gonna watch", Jake asks.
"I wanna watch a cartoon", Bree says.
"Me too", Eli says.
"I third this motion", Jovi says.
"A whole new world", Bree Jovi and I sing at the same time.
We bust out laughing.
"Good memories ", Jovi says.
"We need to that again", Bree says as we reminisce.
The boys are looking at us strangely.
"Ummm", Leon says.
"Oh well I had taken the girls to Turks and Caicos and we went at night so the stars were out and I started to sing  and we all joined in it was so great", I say explaing.
"Wait y'all have been to Turks and Caicos ", Ethan asked.
"Yeah Brittany takes us to a lot of places", Jovi says.
"We gotta make memories while were young you know", I say.
I love my girls so much and I just am so blessed.
"So Aladdin it is", Bree says popping in the disc.
We have 3 bean bags a love seat and recliners. The girls sit in their recliners the boys take the bean bags. Jake is left with no where to sit. I sit on the love seat and scoot over for him. He sits down and the movie starts. The doorbell rings and it alerts my phone. I get up and go check who it is. I open the door and see the devil himself.
"Ryan", I say confused.
He let's himself in and goes to the kitchen.
"Baby", he says opening the fridge.
"What Ryan", I say annoyed thinking about Julia leaving his house.

"So you went to buy the foster kid clothes", he said.

"Ryan I don't have time for this", I say. 

He slams his hand on the island.

"Oh so you have time to get this foster kid clothes but not to talk to me", he said.

"Oh your mom's calling. Oh wait it was Julia. Ry you deadass I have no room to say anything", I say.

"My mom was calling you need to get the fact that Julia is always going to be my best friend. I wouldn't tell you to stop being friends with Bree or Jovi even though you need to", he says. "While you at it drop the foster kids".

"I didn't hang out with the boys because they are foster kids. They are actually funny and nice", I say.

"What now you are choosing a guy you just met over me. Come on your smart then that. You can see hes just using you for your money. He doesn't know you like I do. Does he even know about Brandon", he asks.
"Whaa... how... why would bring that up God Ryan you are such a asshole I cant believe you, It wasn't that serious. I hung out with them for a fucking day", I say tears running down my face and not being able to catch my breath.
All of a sudden everything is blurry and I cant seem to get a breath in.
Jake's POV
"Ryan I don't have time for this", I hear Britt yell.
We hear a loud slam.
"Oh shit", I say rushing to get up and the boys follow. When I get downstairs we hear him.

"Oh so you have time to get this foster kid clothes but not to talk to me", he said.

WTF?! Britt is with this piece of shit? I look at the boys and their heads are down just looking at the floor. Were listening to everything now everyone has their heads down.

"I bet he doesn't even know about Brandon", he says and Bree and Jovi go in there in a hurry.

She's crying and he has his hands on her arms trying to apologizing and I get pissed.

I get his hands off of her and bring her in a protective hug while Eli gets closer to Ryan. I see the girls.
"Get her upstairs now", I yell.
When they grab her from me I feel the ghost of her body leave my arms.
"Ryan you like making people cry", I ask. "Me too", I say and I start punching him. I keep going and going until I feel the boys pulling me off. "I dont ever want to see you around her ever again do you hear me'.
The boys take him outside and lock the door.
"Guys y'all need to go home before mom gets mad tell her I went out and I'll be home in time for school", I say.
"Okay we should probably tell Britt bye first", Leon says.
"Yeah go ahead I'll be up there soon", I say.
I go to the kitchen sink and wash the blood from my hands. I'm so angry I can't think straight and then my heart hurts for Brittany. The boys comes back down with the girls.
"Can any of y'all drive ", the girls ask.
"Um yeah guys take them home in the Jeep and go straight home afterwards", I say.
"Yes sir", they say and take the girls.
"Um hey Jake please stay with her she needs someone right now", Bree says.
"Yeah no problem", I say.
They leave and I go upstairs with Britt.
