When people say you see your life flash before your eyes when you're near death, they're right.
God knows, I saw everything-every moment, every mistake, every tear I caused to drop from my moms eyes, every lesson I learned. The months of spent with Coach and Mr.Jay, the pain I felt when my own father expressed his disgust with my existence.
I saw it all.
I felt it all.
"Wait!" The EMT said loudly, the pads of her index and middle fingers gently feeling at Javiers neck.
"I have a pulse," she said frantically, causing everyone around her to gather around Javier, quickly but safely loading him into a stretcher-covering his face with a oxygen mask.
His gunshot wound being gauzed by other EMT's to stop the bleeding.
By this point Clarence had been taken to the police station and and Joshua had been returned to his love ones.
No one knew of Javiers possible survival.
Even his biological father, the very one who attempted to end his life-knew nothing of his sons
continued existence.Quickly Javier was rushed to the hospital-his life clinging to a very thin string which threatened to snap.
The young 16 years old short life was one heart beat away from death.
