So recently I did an interview with LaurenJ22. Most of you know her for her book Best Thing For Me, which has amazing reviews and is just filled to bits with romance and drama. The writer herself has an amazing talent at writing and if you haven't read the book, go do it right now!! It's awesome!

Hi Lauren, where did you get the idea for best thing for me?

LaurenJ22:

I just sat down and began typing. I didn't really have an inspiration or major idea. I don't plan anything that happens in it.

How do u make sure u update regularly for your fans?

LaurenJ22:

I make sure I take a part of my day or every couple of days to sit down and just write, which I usually just write BTFM. I seem to never run out of ideas for that story.

How did you find out about Wattpad?

LaurenJ22:

My sister's uni professor told her about it and then she told me.

Where do you get your ideas for chapters from?

LaurenJ22:

I either extract my real life experiences and put them in there or I just think about the characters world and what could happen in there and all that stuff.

Describe your story, the best thing for me in one paragraph.

LaurenJ22:

Well, Emma Ross is a quiet, shy girl who tries to stay off the radar. After becoming friends with Jason Mayor, one of the 'It' boys, her life changes dramatically. She goes through personal growth and a major confidence boost as she goes through many conflicting problems. The base of the story is whether she wants to put up with all the drama that comes along with dating Jason, or if it's better to just go back to being a 'nobody'. It may just be the best thing for her.

So, tell me a little bit about yourself.

LaurenJ22:

I'm a sixteen year old Australian teenager. I love writing, it's one of my passions. I do competitive horse riding and my horse's name is Jamaica. <3 I wear glasses, I cry when I laugh and my hidden desire is one day to go on x-factor, although I can't sing :P

Haha:) Do you have any writing tips for your fans?

LaurenJ22:

Um, just be patient I guess. People can pressure you into writing faster or if you have writer's block, just be patient and don't try and rush through it. It'd be best if you took your time to make it your best, then do a half-hearted quick job.
