A Life Like This

Jessica, a beautiful girl with a strong and unique personality, she's tough. She never cares about the things happening around her, she even don't care everyone around her and even her family and her own Mom. She just wants to live for herself; she lives with pain, anger and selfishness. Her Mom doesn't have any single time for her because she's busy on their family business. Her Dad died on a car accident when she was 3 years old. That was her Mom said to her. She only have music that gives her soul and life, this is the only thing she cares for, her only obsession.

CHAPTER I: Battle of the Bands

February 13, 2014. Battle of the Bands 2014. Mall of Asia ground.

"Okay, the battle is over, we are just waiting for the result. Are you excited to know who the champion is?" Host says.

"Yes! Yes!" 

"Woooh! Yeah!" 

"Bring it on! Woooh!" crowd yells loudly.

"Okay, the crowd is getting wild and excited to announce the champion. But before that, let's have some special performance coming from the 2013 battle of the band champion!"

"Woohoooo!" 

"Yeah! Woooh!" Crowd yells again.

"Okay, while they are setting their instruments and preparing, I just want to give you guys a trivia about this band. Their band is composed of four members, and one of them is very a beautiful girl. She's on vocals and rhythm guitar. They are all high school and studying in same school. They are all in fourth year high school...

Okay I think they are ready. Please welcome, 2013 Battle of the bands champion, THE TAMAWOs..!!!!"

"Wooooh, Yeahhh!!" crowd shouts loudly.

"Mic check. Hello, hello.. Good evening. Kami po ang mga Tamawo, ang mga nilalang na tinanggihan ng langit at isinuka ng lupa." Vocalist says.

"So weird." One of the guys in the crowd says.

"Woooh! Tamawos! Idol!" another guy shouts.

"Our first song is my favorite song, this is out of our genre but I just want to share this beautiful song with you guys, hope you like it." The vocalist said then starts to strum her guitar and sing..

[Panalangin ko sa habang buhay, makapiling ka, 

Makasama ka, yan ang panalangin ko. 

At hindi papayag ang pusong ito, mawala ka  

Saking piling, mahal ko iyong dinggin.]

"Wow, pare. Ang lupit nun." Guy on the backstage says while he's drinking beer with his bandmates.

"Yeah, what an angelic voice." His bandmate adds.

[At wala nang iba pang mas mahalaga 

Sa tamis na dulot ng pag ibig nating dalawa. 

At sana nama'y nakikinig ka 

Kapag ang aking sasabihi'y minamahal kita...]

"Ugh! I can't take this. I want to see her now!" That guy says again and attempts to stand up on his chair. Then he falls down on the floor.

"Miggy, you drink too much. You better not to stand up." His bandmate says.

"But bro, I need to see...." He did not finish what he's saying and he nods off.
