Chloe's Pov

Newt motioned me to follow him, I'd guess we were going on our tour. He was heading towards the Small Wooded area which looked like a grave yard, half way there I noticed Newt's limp "Newt?" he stops and looks at me "What?" I look at his leg "Why do you limp?" he looks down "That's none of your bloody business!" I backed away a little confused what made him so mad. What's up with his leg that's such a secret?

I looked down to the ground "sorry." We walked in silence till he said "This here is the deadheads, were all the dead shanks are." I look around and whisper "Thanks, I could at least get that much" Newt looks at me "What?" I shook my head "Nothin"

He showed me the other places, like the gardens and the animal pens then we walked behind homestead and put his hand on a metal box, reminding me of the box that brought me to bloody hell. Then he spoke "this is our jail, The Slammer, don't want to end up in here" He smiled then walked to a small house and pointed "here Greenie this is the map room, runners only." he paused and turns to me "Minho and Thomas are Runners that's why the shanks go into the bloody maze" I smile, now understanding "how to you get your jobs?" Newt stands there for a second Laughing, "You'll see tomorrow, you will be helping frypan, you got today off" he said with a smile "Newt, what do you do?" "Second in command... used to be a runner but then I had a accident." He said looking down at his leg, "Oh, sorry." He looked at me funny "What about?" "asking about it"

He just started back to homestead "Hungry, shank?" still no idea what their slang meant so I'll just go along "sure." We got to frypan's and Newt yelled over in the kitchen part "Frypan have anything for me and the Newbie to eat?" Two sandwiches were handed to us and frypan said "Have fun you shanks" we smiled and walked out, once we left I saw serval groups of boys head into the kitchen "I guess it lunchtime?" I say looking at Newt "Yep" he said sitting next to a tree and handing me mine, once I have a mouthful I forgot to chew and said "Thanks for letting me sleep with you last night." I knew I was blushing. He smiles "Anytime."

Newt's Pov

Smiling, I finish my sandwich, of course before Chloe. I then say "If you want you can sleep with me again" blushing she replies "Maybe this time we won't get caught." did she mean she wanted to kiss me again? I smile "Good that." once she finishes her sandwich she kisses my cheek and asks "what's next on our list of things to do today" I smile "I wish it was take a nap" she giggles "we can rest a few minutes." I nod feeling her climb on my lap as I lay Down against the tree. I kiss her neck, "We need to go meet Alby in a few minutes by the map room" "ok, and after that?" I joke "No questions" she turns around and sits in my lap facing me, hands around my neck "oh,come on" smiling "after that we'll meet up with Minho and Thomas, we will have to wait for the shanks to fill out the maps and klunk like that, then we get real food" I watch her, smiling, "come on, we got to go see what the klunk Alby needs." She gets off my lap luckily following me.

Once we get there, I see Alby talking to a very tired Minho.
