Phil's POV

I was waiting for Ape at her locker room looking around checking if someone was approaching. Then she finally came.

"Hey nice match." I greeted then she just walked pass me.

"Thanks can you take me to my hotel room now?" She said as she grabbed her duffel bag.

"Sure but what about our plans tonight?" I asked her.

"I'm just not feeling well, okay! Now can you take me?!" She sounded pissed.

"Take a chill pill. Fine, I'm taking you let's just reschedule." I said as I helped her with her duffel bag.

"I don't know about that." She said which made me turn.

"What do you mean you don't know?" I dropped her things on the table.

"I can't accept this Phil. It's too much." She removed her ring and placed it on the table.

"What? You're being ridiculous." I grabbed the ring and stood infront of her.

"You deserve so much better. I'm a mess. I thought I could manage but I'll never be good enough." She started to cry.

"You'll always be more than enough for me. Do you hear yourself right now? It's like you're breaking up with me." I stopped for a moment realizing what was happening. "You are breaking up with me." I froze.

"I'm sorry but Dolph's right." She sobbed.

"D-Dolph's right?! You've been talking to your ex boyfriend and what to manipulate you?!" I got pissed.

"He isn't manipulating me! He's right all along." She cried.

"Now you're being unreasonable. Don't believe everything that dick says. But, I have to ask. Do you see your future with me? Am I the person whom you think you'll end up with?" I asked her teary eyed.

"I don't know Phil. You deserve-" I cut her off.

"Save it. I got my answer." I wiped my tears. "I honestly thought you were as sure as I was. Maybe I was just dreaming. Goodbye AJ. Thank you for your honesty." I walked out of the room and drove off.
