my Confessions

chapter 2

I walked out the door and into the red camry. Dad soon followed, he seemed agitated about something but when he looked at me, he smiled and shook his head.

    "Why do you have to do that to those boys" he asked as he began to pull out of the driveway and onto the road.

    "What are you talking about dad if anyone was doing anything it was the boys" i said crossing my arms over each other.

    "See the thing is elizabeth the boys are now seeing you different, they see you as a girl, a beautiful girl, do you remember the night that dalton and jakob got into that fight" he asked and I nodded slightly. "They got into i because of you, see the thing is that all of the boys seem to have a crush on you now that you are growing up and turning into a woman"

    I slowly sank into my seat.. I didn't really understand why they would see me like that, i mean i always got butterflies in my stomach when they would look at me too long or hug me tight..  But I didn't really understand what it meant.

    "But why, I mean look at all the girls they have talked to or liked i'm not anywhere close to what they are" I said looking out the window to try to avoid eye contact.

    "Well, you are beautiful.. And you have turned out to be a very mellow and a caring person" he spoke as I slowly nodded.

     We had finally reached the road that leads to high school, it was lighted with the gold and blue signs that said "welcome to southside high, home of the southside sabers" I smiled I loved our mascot it was a blue jousting man on a yellow man.

    "Have you decided what you want to do yet" dad spoke as we pulled in the parking lot.

    "I'm not quite sure, i would have to look at the classes when we talk to the councillor" i spoke as we pulled into a parking lot. "Is jakob gonna meet us for the meeting"

    "It all depends on how late their practice is running" dad answered my question as we got out of the car.

    I fixed my shorts and my top as i made a small hop onto the sidewalk from the parking space.

    "You are still a child at heart huh" dad said laughing.

    "Was it the disney shirt or my taking the jump" i asked as he laughed more.

    "I don't even know why im surprised," he said as he opened the door.

    The hallways were wide with navy and yellow decorative paint, wit white accent. There was a staircase to the next two floors... it was a lot bigger than the last school I had been too... my stomach started to turn.. I felt like I wanted to turn around and run all the way home.

    "Dash is that you?" I heard a familiar voice say as I turned to my let to see jakob carrying his baseball equipment.

    He was only slightly tanner than me and his curly blonde hair fell in his face slightly covering his green eyes.

    "JAKOB" I yelled as I ran and jumped into his arms.

    "Yes dash i missed you too, what are you doing here" he said hugging me tightly.

    "I'm here for my class appointment" i spoke as he smiled and set me down.

    "Well let's get this show on the road ok" dad said as jacob grabbed my hand and started leading me down the hall...

    The butterfkys erupted in my stomach again.. Then I thought about what dad said and I began to wonder how long has this been going on..
