We finally got to the car and I was smiling ear to ear even though i had no idea what had happened.
"What's that" jakob asked pointing to the piece of paper in my hand. I felt my face gets red as I put it in my pocket.
"Oh it's nothing" i tried to hide my embarrassment with a smile.
He gave me a cockeyed look and just turned around and got into the front seat of the car. I climbed into the back and buckled my seatbelt.
"So when we get home do you wanna watch movies with the boys"jakob asked as we pulled out of the school.
"Yea sure" I spoke as I pulled my phone out and texted peter.
Me: hey it's dash :)
Peter: hey princess how did everything go.. Yall were in a rush to leave i didn't even get to see your schedule.
Me: oh here im sorry (image)
I sent him the picture and closed my phone. I hope we have a class together.. I don't even know if we are in the same grade...
"What movie do you wanna watch dash" jacob asked from the front seat and I snapped from my phone thoughts.
"Ummmm im not sure yet.. Maybe sleeping beauty or tangled ''I spoke as he groaned..
"Always disney movies.. Can we watch something else for a change" he spoke as I rolled my eyes.
"Once a disney kid.. Always a disney kid.. So no" i smiled as my phone vibrated. I quickly grabbed it and smiled.
Peter: looks like we have 2nd and 5th together and that means we have the same lunch sweet!
I felt my heart jump out of my chest as I giggled into my phone... then i felt dad and jakob look at me.
"Sorry" I said looking up at them as they turned around. Then my phone vibrated again.
Peter: hey i was wondering a couple of us were gonna go to the beach tomorrow if you are down:)
Me:hmmm let me ask and ill get back to you ok?
Peter: ok princess.
I locked my phone and sat it down beside me.
"Hey dad... could I go to the beach tomorrow with a couple of my friends?" I asked as he pulled into the driveway.
Then i saw jakob frantically look at dad but he ignored it.
"Sure sweetheart,ill give you $40 or food and anything else as well" he smiled as jakob got out of the car and slammed the door.
"What's his problem?" I asked as we walked inside..
