Chapter 3

It was going on 6 o'clock and they all sat in silence for a moment thinking of what to do. Sohee was still comforting Hiyeon and Taehyung was on the lookout. Hiyeon's stomach growled and she sighed.

"I'm so hungry," she said.

"We all are," Jungkook told her.

"I say we send someone out there. Maybe to get some supplies," Taehyung said.

"I really feel like your thinking about yourself right now. We can't send just one person down there. If anything we all go together," Namjoon said.

"Everyone's not ready to go out there! Look at Hiyeon! She's weak and afraid," Taehyung called out.

"You know, you're really starting to get annoying," Jungkook said and got up out off his seat.

"You two better not start. In this situation we shouldn't have time to hate. We need each other and we need to work together. So, just like he said if we leave, we leave together. It doesn't matter if everyone isn't ready. Have you seen what's out there? It takes a lot of guts to go out there," Sohee told them.

Everyone turned quiet. Arguing at a time like this was pointless. Everyone is probably dead by now so they needed to stick together. Jungkook smirked at Sohee's wise words. He agreed with her 100%. They've been stuck in this room for 4 hours. They still didn't know each other's name but that didn't matter to them. What mattered more was everyone getting the hell out of here.

"I think we should get moving soon. About in the next few hours. Maybe to the cafeteria," Namjoon decided.

"What about the storage room? I heard it had boxes of food and also we can find some supplies there," Jungkook said.

"Alright. Then we'll go there," Namjoon agreed.

"The storage room is in the basement and we're on the second floor so I don't think it will be that hard to get there. We have to take the staircase because it isn't safe to take the elevator," Jungkook continued.

Jungkook pictured a zombie with large arms jump out at them as the elevator doors opened. In all the video games he's watched, it's never safe to take it. It can get stuck or something could come from the top of it. Who knows.

"Will you be ready then?," asked Namjoon looking at Hiyeon.

She slowly nodded." I hope so," she said. She was terrified and she was sure that if she stepped feet out of this room she was either gonna froze or pass out. Sohee was thinking more about what could cause this. She's seen this kind of thing in movies and it all starts by some stupid scientist who messes up in the lab. Was it a virus? Neurotoxins? Brain Parasites? Taehyung made his way to the window and took a peek to see the  streets was completely full of zombies in all shapes and sizes. These weren't the type of human form zombies you see in the movies. There wasn't a single human body out there.

How long are they gonna stay in this school? How long are they able to survive this?

"Alright. Is everyone ready?," asked Namjoon holding on to a teacher's stick.

"Yup," said Sohee holding onto Hiyeon.

"Yea," replied Jungkook grabbing on to the broken leg from the desk Namjoon used to break the closet.

Taehyung replied yes and grabbed the desk board. He thought maybe he could use it has a shield or something. Hiyeon only nodded. Namjoon picked up another desk and hit the door knob causing it to break and fall on the floor. Jungkook was now questioning if he was some type of gangster and where did he learn that from? Namjoon slowly opened the door and looked both ways. The hallway was dark and the lights that hung on the ceiling were broken. Glass was on the floor and blood was all over the walls. Students dead body parts laid on the floor. Namjoon saw Mr.San's keys but it was still in his hand which was separated from his body. He quickly grabbed the keys and led the group. They were making their way to the staircase which was at the end of the hall when Hiyeon suddenly stopped. She was frozen and her legs wouldn't move.

"I-i can't do this," she said.

"We have to. You can do it," Sohee said to her.

"I-i can't!."

Namjoon sighed and quickly made his way towards her. He turned around and got on one knee." Get on. We have no time," he said. Hiyeon got on and Namjoon continued to make his way to the staircase. They followed closely behind each other. Jungkook noticed that Sohee was in the back so he pushed her in front of him. They made it to the staircase and quietly walked down the stairs. Suddenly growling was heard. They all stopped and listened, trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. A wet and slimy liquid was dropped on Taehyung's face. He slowly looked up to see that spider zombie. It was sleeping.

"Shhhh."
