Catching Feelings?

Colby's POV

I speed walk up to my room to grab my shoes so Scarlett and I can go on our walk.

I dont really know whats going on, but whatever it is Im happy..

There's something about this girl I have never seen before.. she's so sweet and timid and absolutely stunning.

I get my shoes and slip them on and head back downstairs to where I see Scarlett nowhere.

I look around the house and still can't find her. I head to the back yard to see her talking to Kenzi and Jaymie. I walk up behind them with my hands in my hoodie pockets.

"Yeah, no we will be back soon Colby and I are just going on a walk." She smiles and talks with her hands.

"You two don't even worry. She's safe with me. I wont let anything happen to her. " I smiled putting my hand on Scarlett's shoulder

She finished saying goodbye to her friends and we walk out of the front door.

"So, tell me about you." I ask trying to make sure I don't walk too fast for her.

"Well... I'm 21, I live here in LA. I work at The Rooftop... I used to live in Georgia til my friends and I decided to get away and try to fulfill our dreams.. side note we havent yet.. but we have been here since we were 18 and after we just graduated.. I dont know what else to say.. what about you?" She explains looking at her feet

"Well, I'm 22, I'm from Kansas, I'm a youtuber and do insane shit for the internet... Sam and I moved out here after graduation as well to do exactly what you guys are wanting to do... fulfill our dreams. What are you guys wanting to do anyways?" I ask matching my stride to hers

"Well, Kenz wants to be a makeup artist. Jaymie wants to be an actress and I guess I want to be a singer.. but I'm not that great honestly." She bites her lip shyly

"I'm sure that's not true.. sing me something and I'll judge you.. no bias or anything." I stop and lean against a brick wall smiling

"Oh .. no I couldn't.." she panics

"It's okay, its only me.. please?" I look into her eyes and pout bringing a cute smile to her face

"Fine.. but youre showing me your videos when we get back!" She giggles

She takes a deep breath and starts to sing ( song at the beginning)

When she finishes I pull myself away from the wall and slow clap for her.

"Oh you really don't have to do all that now" she smiles softly shoving me

"No, really I do. You're amazing. Im sure Kat would be happy to help you out with fulfilling that dream of yours." I put my arm around her shoulder and squeeze

She turns to look at me and it seems as though she wants to say something.

"Why don't we go grab a coffee?" I smile looking down at her

"Sure, I would love to." We both start walking toward the starbucks down the street.

Once inside, we run into one of my fans.

"OMG Colby!! Can I get a picture with you??" She smiles jumping up and down

"Of course! " I smile and bend down for the picture

Once its taken I stand back up and hug her goodbye but she doesn't leave

"Who's she?" She asks with somewhat of an angry look on her face
"This is my new friend Scarlett." I smile at her and then try to push past her again.

She allows me to pass but looks at Scarlett and squints her eyes

"I'm watching you..." she stares at Scarlett as she walks away

"Okay ... you have some batshit crazy fans..." Scarlett walks up behind me eyes wide

"Don't worry about her. A lot of my fans get very protective and jealous if I'm even seen within a 10 mile radius of a female" i snicker and look up at the menu "what do you want? It's on me."

"Umm... a french vanilla latte is fine.. thank you, you really don't have to pay for me."  She plays with the sleeves of the hoodie i gave her

"Don't worry about it.. I want to" I smile and turn to order our drinks

Something really is special about this girl.. I can't put my finger on it... but I know I want to keep her around.
