          LEXI'S eyes nearly closed as they moved in a steady pace. About three minutes into walking, Steve had decided that carrying Lexi was easier than her putting weight on it.

"There," she mumbled, her arm lifting when she spotted grey light flooding in the dark tunnel. Her hand shook visibly before she let it fall limply against her stomach. Tony led the way. When he turned the corner, Thor was standing on the edge of the broken floor.

Steve gently let Lexi down to her feet and she nodded in appreciation. She held on to his arm as she limped to Thor's side with Tony and Steve. Following Thor's intense gaze, she spotted Thanos in the distance, sitting on a stray boulder of cement...waiting.

"What's he been doing?" Tony asked sharply as Thanos' head lifted to look back at the four.

"Absolutely nothing." Thor shook his head in disbelief.

"Where are the Stones?" Steve mumbled after a moment of silence.

"Lost somewhere under all this," Tony glanced around at the destroyed land. "All I know is that he don't have them."

Lexi swallowed painfully, her throat dry. "Then let's keep it that way." Steve nodded firmly at her, clenching his jaw.

"It's a trap...right?"

"Yeah..." Tony slowly agreed to Thor's question. "I don't much care."

"Good. Just as long as we're all in agreement."

Thunder rumbled in the sky as Thor outstretched both of his hands. His eyes shown a neon blue as lightning surged over his both. Suddenly the Stormbreaker and Mjolnir landed in his hands. A flash of lightning struck him and Thor was left in his armour with his hair and beard tied up. Lexi was shocked and impressed, but chose not to voice her thoughts. "Let's kill him properly this time."

Tony turned to Lexi when Steve and Thor started their way down. "Stay put."

Lexi didn't want to argue, or go, frankly. She only nodded at his words and bowed her head. Tony pursed his lips and leaned forward to press a platonic kiss her forehead. "I'll be back soon, okay?"

She watched Tony walk down, a deep feeling of dread in her gut.

          HOLLY swam to the best of her ability as the water rose rapidly. Pressing her hand to the slab of concrete above them, she glanced at Rhodey. He nodded back at her before looking at Rocket. "See you guys on the other side."

Rocket whined nervously.

"J-Just hang in there. Someone will come." Holly said, spiting out water that entered her mouth. "I hope."

          IT all happened so fast, and Lexi was in complete horror. Thanos had entered and quickly won the fight between Thor, Tony and Steve. In a panic, she rushed in to try and help, but was beat down in the first ten seconds. Her body was casted aside, hitting the ground and knocking her unconscious. Lexi laid beside Thor. Steve was able to wield Mjolnir, but it didn't help much for winning the fight.

Now, Thanos stood over Steve as he laid battered on the ground with only half his shield left. Clenching his teeth, he rolled onto his side.

"In all my years of conquest," the Titan surveyed the area. "Violence...slaughter. It was never personal. But I'll tell you know, what I'm about to do to your stubborn annoying little planet; I'm going to enjoy it. Very, very much."
