In hospital
Suhana slept in neil's arms itself . Avni stood up to carry her....but neil stopped her. Neil insisted avni to let her sleep.
Neil : Its okay avni. Let her be.
Avni : B...but neil...tum...tumhe problem hogi.
Neil just adored this little princess sleeping in his arms. He himself was unable to understand her connection towards suhana. She unknowingky brought a beautiful change in his lfe.
Neil (adoring suhana) : Look at her Avni...she is smiling....Even while sleeping. (he looked at avni). if you will carry her...her sleep will get disturb.
Avni : Neil....tum...tum ye sab kyu kr rhe ho......(she has tears in her eyes...thinking how can somone be so caring and loving)
Neil : Pta nhi avni...main khud snjh nhi paa rha...ki suhana ke saath mera kya rishta hai.
Aaj jab..jab usne...usne mujhe papa kaha....to i felt somthing different.....a feeling i never felt before...
Avni was listening to him and try to accept this....But how can she allow her daughter to call him papa.
How can she burden Neil with all this.
And......How can she be a burden on him.
No.....she has to clear all this. She cant exagerate all this and make this even more complicated.
Avni Pov
No...I can't be greedy, I can't be a burden on neil...I cant let my daughter call him papa.
....and i...i have to end this here only"
Avni just got up....she wiped her tears...and without saying anything....she just took suhana from neil's arms...carried her to the nearby sofa...and lyed her there.
Neil was taken aback with her sudden move.
There was silence in the room for the next hour. Neither of them said anything after that
Avni was carresing suhana, siting next to her...while Neil lyed on his bed and kept looking at her
Neil's Pov
Ye mujhe kya ho rha hai....Kyu...kyu main inn dono se itna connect ho rha hu.
Ye mere liye sirf ek case tha...jo ab solve ho gya hain.
Main apne aap ko rok nhi paa rha hu. Avni mere baare me kya soch rhi hogi...Use kya lg rha hoga..
Or suhana....vo bchi, kahi main uske saath galat to nhi kr rha....use jhuti umeed to nhi de rha...
Pr vo kitni pyaari hai...jab bhi use dekhta hu...mann krta hai ki usko duniya ki saari khushiya de du....or uski aankho me kabhi aansu na aane du....(he smiled)
Lekin Avni....uske liye kitna mushkil hoga ye sab....Main kya kru..kuch smjh nhi aa rha...
Bhagwan....ab apa hi btao...ki kya sahi hai...kya galat...
Neil's pov ends.
In night.
Avni was sleeping on the couch with suhana.
Neil got up in the middle night, as his wound was hurting him badly.
He was feeling pain in his chest,where the bullet hits him.
He waa wincing in pain,and tried to call doctor.
He looked at Avni, tried to call her,but then decided not to disturb her.
He stood up himself,keeping a hand on his chest.
But....in the meantime Avni wakes up. She looked around and saw neil standing and wincing in pain.
She widened her eyes,and ran to him
Avni : Neiiilll......she stood by her and held him.
Avni (holding his hand and bringing him to bed) : Neil....k....kya hua tumhe.....tum...tum....tum thik ho...she panicked as he was wincing in pain.
Neil lyed on the bed with tge help of Avni.
Neil : ahhh.....Av....Avni mai..main th..thik hu....Tu..tum chinta mat kro....
Avni (scolding him) : Kya thik ho neil.....Tumhari halat dekho....tumne mujhe uthaya kyu nhi.......Main..main abhi doctor ko bulati hu...
She called the doctor,
She stood still as the doctor checked him
Doctor : Mr khanna,your wound is still fresh...and it might take time to recover probperly....as the wound was quite deep. YOU HAVE TO BE ON BED REST FOR 2 MONTHS MINIMUM......otherwise this wound will hurt you lifetime.
Ani gasped at doctors remark.
Neil : But doctor....mujhe kaam pe jana hai...meri duty....mera kaam...2 months main kaise.....
Before he could complete, Avni interupted in between...
Avni : Kya kaam neil....Tum kahi nhi jaoge 2 mahine tak. Tum sirf rest kroge.....or...or TUMHARE REST KI JIMMEDARI MERI......TUM HAMARE SAATH RHOGE....JAB TAK TUM PURI TARAH SE THEEK NHI HO JAATE....I...I will take care of you. Doctor ne kaha hai na tumhe propee rets chahiye....or main..main tunhari life ke saath koi risk nhi lena chahti.....So ITS FINAL....YOU WILL LIVE WITH ME...AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU !
She said all this in a single go....without realising anything.
Neil looked at her in surprise. They both looked at each other.
Doctor : Well its good, And now take rest Mr Khanna. You will be discharged tommorow.
After this doctor left....But neil and avni were still not out of theie eye lock.
