Its been four months since I found out I was pregnant. I opened my eyes and could hear Yuri shuffling around in the kitchen. My back hurt, my legs hurt and my feet hurt. This baby was kicking and I knew she only had 3 weeks until she would greet the world with her beautiful smile. I stood up and my hair was a mess.

It was a saturday and Yuri doesn't work weekends. I've stopped working due to having to eat five meals a day to feed this kid. I stood up and stretch as I waddled my way to the kitchen. Yuri was right my side.

"Goodmorning beautiful." He said kissing me softly and slowly walking me to the kitchen island bar. I sat down and rested my head against my hands.

"Goodmorning my prince charming." I said looking up at him. He was shirtless and was cooking. He was a beautiful sight at sunrise.

He was cooking bacon and pancakes. I could smell the cheese that he threw into the egg, as well as the syrup heating in the microwave. He loved cooking and he was good at it. He quickly grabbed two plates and emptied the skillets onto them. He handed one to me, followed by the maple syrup.

"Thank you." I said pressing my lips to his. I smiled up to him as he sat across from me. I didn't want to be up this early but it was obvious that my body and child had other plans.

I ate breakfast fast and smiled to Yuri.

"I think I am going to hop im the shower." I said standing up and waddling into the bathroom. I pulled out a towel and turned the nobs to turn on the shower.

I smiled and slowly drifted into peace. The hot water against my body felt amazing. I had been cold since I woken up. I slowly washed and leaned against the wall to relax.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain. The sensation was in my legs, vagina and lower back. I bit my lip.

"Yuri?" I yelled before another pain shot up my back. "Yuri!" I screamed. I heard the door burst open. He opened the shower curtain and I instantly fell into his arms. He lifted me out and wrapped a towel around me.

"I got you" He said rubbing my back. I leaned into him as he rested me on the toilet. I felt hot water rush down my legs. He helped me dry off and I started to get tunnel vision. I clinched his hand and closed my eyes.

I heard sounds and voices. Yuris' was the only familiar sound. I heard a door close and a faint cry. I groaned and the voices stopped. I felt a warm hand grab mine and I knew it was Yuri. I opened my eyes and saw Yuri smiling down at me.

"Congrats my love." He said looking at me. He looked in front of me as my eyes glanced to Dr. Volken. He had his arms cradled, with a yellow blanket wrapped around a small infant. I saw a small hand reach up and touch his cheek. He smiled and walked up to me and handed me the small child.

I smiled up at him and looked down, feeling a tear run down my cheeks. She was beautiful. She had Yuris' nose and hair, while she had my shape. Her eyes were a bright purple. I smiled at her as she giggled. Her eyes were an odd color but I didn't care. This was my child.

"I love you, Christine." I said looking at her. I gently kissed her cool forehead. She smiled up at me.

The first two years were perfect. Her eyes were a beautiful purple. I had never seen purple in some ones eyes. I started inviting Jackson over and the two of them bonded. I had never seen red either.

I allowed Jackson to babysit her  when I started working but due to terrible housing economy, Jay & Fredrickson eventually shut down. Yuri didn't mind though because he didn't trust Jackson. He was a flirt and Yuri knew he was really sexy.

School started for Christine and she quickly made friends. They all loved her eyes, as did the neighbors and people we interacted with.

Christine started to grow and blossom. We did, however, start running into her tempers. I knew she had Yuris nose and skin but I didn't realize she had his temper.

I opened my eyes as the early mornimg sun shined through the window. It was August and today was Christines' first day at high school. Fourteen years ago, she was in my arms and now, she was at my height, her hair was beautiful, long and brown. Her eyes still shined a perfect purple.

Her vision was excellent and her heart was big, but her temper was an issue. She put a hole in her bedroom wall when Yuri grounded her. She snuck out of the house and got caught. She loved walking at night but she would walk all over Elkhart.

I got up and quickly prepared her a sandwich, a bag of chips, a bottle of pop. I had 5 minutes before I had to wake the bear. I sat on the couch. It was almost seven. Yuri would be home soon after Christine would be on the bus.

I turned on the TV and watched the news. The violence from South Bend was already in Elkhart.

I looked over and saw it was seven. I slowly crept down the hallway and slowly opened her door. Her room was always a mess. Clothes on the floor, food and drinks on her table.
