Melody's Point of view.
"Hey." Cam said, smiling at his cell phone.
"Who are you talking to?" I asked.
"No one." He said, pushing me out of his room and closing his door.
"Alrighty then." I said, walking downstairs.
I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket and called Tyler.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi." I say, smiling at my phone, just like Cam did.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Watching a movie." He said.
"Oh, can I come over?" I asked.
"Of course, Mello." He said.
Cam walked downstairs and I said," Hey, can you drop me off over Tyler's house?"
"Sure, I have to go somewhere anyway." He said.
"I'll be there soon." I said into the phone.
"Okay, I'll see you soon." Tyler said and I hung up.
"Let's go." I say and Cam grabs his keys.
While we're in the car I say, "Where are you going?"
"None of your business." Cam says.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" I say, laughing at Cam.
"Pfft, No." He said, driving into Tyler's driveway.
"Okay, whatever you say." I say, getting out of the car.
"Tell Ty I said Hi." He said.
"Kay, bye." I say.
I ring the doorbell and Tyler opens the door.
"Hey Mello." He says, smiling, wrapping me up in a big bear hug.
"Hey." I say, kissing his cheek.
We walk into his house and I sit on the couch. Tyler grabs a bowl of popcorn and sits down next to me. I lay my head on his chest and stare at the tv.
"Is this Harry Potter?" I ask.
"Maybe." Tyler mumbles and I giggle.
"I think Cam has a girlfriend." I say.
"Really?" He asks.
"Yup." I say.
"Wow, he hasn't had a girlfriend since, wait, he hasn't had any girlfriends." Tyler says.
Well that's because he was content with raping me, I think.
"Well that's because my brother is lame." I laugh.
Tyler laughs too and I can feel his eyes on me. I look up and he is looking at my stomach. He puts his hand on my stomach and I put my hand on top of his. He smiles and says,"This is ours. This is our family."
Tyler's mom walks into the room and smiles.
"Hello Melody. I didn't know you were here. Would you like to stay for dinner?" She says.
"Yes, of course." I say, smiling back at her.
"Okay, dinner will ready soon." She says.
"Okay mom." Tyler says, fanning his hands, gesturing for her to leave.
She takes the hint and walks away. I turn and face Tyler, staring into his eyes. I lean up and give him a quick kiss on the lips.
He smiles and grabs my cheeks, pulling my face closer to his until our lips meet.
"Dinner is ready!" Tyler's mom called, causing us to break apart.
Me and Tyler stood up from the couch and walked into the dining room. He pulled out a chair for me and then sat next to me. Tyler's mom sat a plate of spaghetti and meatballs In front of me and Tyler. I didn't even realize I was hungry until my stomach started growling, as I stared at the plate.
"This smells so good." I say, breathing in the smell of tomato sauce.
"Thank you." Tyler's mom says, sitting across from us.
After dinner, me and Tyler went up to his room.
"I am stuffed." I say, lying on his bed.
Tyler laughs and sits next to me, combing his fingers through my hair. Tyler lays down next to me and I stare into his eyes.
"Tyler, why do you love me?" I ask.
"I love you because you are beautiful, smart, and funny. I love you because when I'm around you it's like the rest of the world is on pause and it's just you and me in the moment. I love you because you are carrying my child. I love you because when I see you my heart skips a beat, my palms start to sweat, and it's like I've forgotten how to breathe. Melody, I love you." He says, and I smile.
I lean forward and kiss him, but then I suddenly stop. I shoot straight up and off of the bed, running to the bathroom. I close the door and kneel over the toilet, expecting to puke. Nothing comes up but the pain in my stomach is still there. I groan, resting my head on the floor.
Tyler walks into the bathroom and rubs my back.
"That was like the worst cramp I have ever had in my life." I sigh.
"Are you ok?" Tyler asks.
I nod. We walk into his room and I lay on his bed.
"Can I stay the night?" I ask.
He sits next to me, staring at my lips and says,' Yeah."
He leans forward and kisses me. I giggle and he smiles against my lips.
"If it's a girl, I like the name Annalese." I say.
"If it's a boy, let's name him Derrick." He says.
"Derrick." I say, testing out the name.
"I like it." I say.
Tyler smiles and climbs on top of me.
"Tommorow we need to make you a doctor's appointment." Tyler says.
We roll over and I'm now on top of Tyler.
"Okay." I say, bending down and kissing his lips.
