"You cant be here. Please leave," Phil rushed to his door- locking it- before turning to Dan again.
"What? Why not? I just needed to apologize, c'mon.." he whispered before standing up.
"N-no! Leave! Please, Dan!" Phil's voice shook as he tried to stay quiet.
Dan's mind was raked with confusion, why didnt Phil want him here? Was he mad about prom?
"Babe if you're mad I need to kn-"
"No! I'm not mad! Just leave before she hears you, please Dan. Please." Phil begs, tears filling his eyes.
That's when Dan takes in all of Phil's features. His worried eyes. His tense shoulders, that were covered in red welts and blisters and...is that carrot?
His torso was littered in dark purple light yellow splotches, and his legs were stained with the same color.
"Phil what happened?" Dan asked grabbing his face, careful to not wrap his fingers all the way around Phil's head.
"Nothing. Just go, I dont want you here right now, please. Please go, Dan." Phil said pulling away and rubbing his eyes, showing off his red knuckles.
"Phil you're hurt, please te-"
"Go before I tell my mum you broke into our house. Leave." Phil whispered, as he put his head in his hands.
Dan was awestruck. Why Phil acting like this? Why cant he just explain? Why cant he just amswer Dan's questions.
Dan started to fill with anger and he walked towards the window that be came in, "fine. Lock your fucking window next time," he pushed his legs out and his torso fell quickly after.
He walked away from Phil's house quickly and pulled out his phone.

He knew it was wrong, but he didn't care. Phil was being a dick and he deserved to know.
Hell. Maybe he deserved the bruises too.
