15| The Birth Of Sai And Nabiki

~3 months later, July 26th~

Serenity lied back on the hospital bed, feeling really exhausted, before she rested her paw on her stomach.

Right now, she's at the Poké Center, waiting for Nurse Joy and Nibi as she tried to relax the best she could.

It's now the 9th month and time for the twins to arrive eventually.

Serenity had to stay in the bed, however, and shouldn't be walking around due to the fact that the twins could arrive at any minute now.

As Serenity letted out a sigh, she suddenly felt a sharp pain circulate through her abdomen.

Serenity winced in pain as she inhaled air through her teeth sharply.

Eventually, the pain started to increase, making Serenity realize that she's about to be in labor.

Luckily, in the nick of time, Nurse Joy and Nibi came in the room with the equipment Nurse Joy was gonna need to deliver the twins.

After they were in the room, Nibi suddenly noticed Serenity was about to be in labor and quickly went over to give her moral support.

As for Nurse Joy, she quickly got everything prepared for the twins' arrival before nodding her head at Serenity.

Then Serenity started to give birth as she gripped Nibi's hand, tightly, with her paw.

~Several minutes later after the twins were born~

After the twins were born, Serenity looked over at Nibi before smiling at him as she panted.

"They're...finally...here....honey...." Serenity panted out. "You're....a.....father....now..."

Nibi smiled as he nodded while tears of joy started to appear in his eyes before Nibi wiped them with his T-shirt.

"That's right...And you're a mother now too." Nibi replied.

"Can I...see...my....babies?" Serenity asked weakly.

Nurse Joy nodded her head as she handed the twins to Serenity.

"Thank...you..." Serenity replied.

Then Serenity moved the pink cloth out her daughter's face so she could see the child better.

As Serenity watched, she saw her daughter starting to stir before she woke up and opened her eyes before looking over at her mother's face.

The daughter was a Riolu with one red eye on the right and one ice blue eye on the left.

Like 3D glasses! *laughter* But, it still makes her look really cool and really special though. XD

The Riolu mostly looked a lot more like her mother.

"Hello there....my beautiful.... daughter..." Serenity said as she rubbed her paw soothingly on the side of her daughter's face.

The Riolu continued looking at her mother before she placed her tiny paws on the sides of her mother's paw as she smiled and cooed.

Then Serenity smiled as she setted her daughter down on the bed before she picked up her son to have a look at him.

The son began to stir awake too before he opened his eyes and looked at his mother.

The son was different however... Instead the son was born human but had the ears, tail, and the eye color of a Riolu's.

He had Nibi's light blue hair and face.

"Oh my...Arceus. They're...so...beautiful." Serenity said as she gasped lightly.

Then Serenity handed her daughter to Nibi so he could have a look at his daughter's face.

"So...Do you still agree on the names that we're gonna give them?" Nibi asked as he looked at Serenity.

Serenity nodded her head.

"What are their names?" Nurse Joy asked curiously.

"Sai...for the...boy...and...Nabiki...for the...girl." Serenity replied as she looked at Nurse Joy.

"Those are really good names for the twins." Nurse Joy complimented.

"Thanks..." Serenity said as she smiled.

Then Serenity handed her son to Nibi for him to have a look at his son's face after she retrieved her daughter back from Nibi.

"He looks...just like you...Nibi..." Serenity said as she looked over at Nibi.

Nibi smiled and nodded his head.

"Same thing to you and our daughter..." Nibi replied as he leaned over and gave Serenity a kiss on the cheek.

"Nibi?" Serenity began.

"Yes? What is it?" Nibi replied.

"Thank you so much for making me a mother..." Serenity said.

"You're welcome..." Nibi replied as he smiled back. "And I can say the same thing to you too, Serenity...Thank you for making me a father."

Serenity smiled at Nibi before she fell asleep.

Nibi held his son close as he looked at him.

"Welcome to the world, son...I love you and your sister so much." Nibi said.

Sai looked at Nibi and smiled as he cooed before falling asleep too.
