"This is a lot of damage done by one kid."
Two males sweep the grounds blocked off by a large amount of caution tape. They're wearing trench coats that kick out behind them like capes, with one scanning the damage and the other speaking to the nervous-looking police officers and bystanders.
"You're sure this description is correct?" The redhead frowns, digging into his coat pocket to fish out a detailed drawing of a young man, his charcoal black hair and narrow, fierce looking eyes unmistakably unique. "And you said his name was, what? Kim Namjoon?"
"Y-yes." The officer stammered. "I was i-in the police car, b-by myself when I saw him kill everyone else. He was being arrested an-and just went crazy. Ran away after l-like he was being chased and hi-his goddamn tentacles followed him—"
"What," the redhead snickered and raised an eyebrow, heart-shaped lips curling into an intimidating smirk, "what the hell d'ya just say? Tentacles?"
The officer looks meek. "Y-yes? He attacked with these little black tentacles that rose from the ground l-like limbs..."
The male snorts and throws his head back, putting one hand on his hip and turning to look at his partner, who's crouching over a pile of debris. "Yoongi. Anything?" He frowns and Yoongi stands quietly, poised and calm.
"The atmosphere here is angry," Yoongi's voice is soft, and he walks elegantly besides the redhead, gently resting his head on his shoulder, sighing. "It's making my stomach turn..."
"Just angry? Nothing else?" He asks and Yoongi pats his partner's shoulders, smiling.
"Hoseok. I told you, my powers work better on living things." Yoongi's eyes flicker a gentle yellow, and Hoseok sighs. "You're awfully stressed..."
Hoseok snorts and turns to the shaken officer before nodding. "Thank you. For your, ah, description." Hoseok shakes his head and looks away, walking towards the debris. "Tentacles...?" He mumbles, confused.
The two walk for a bit until they're inside of the collapsed building, and suddenly, Yoongi frowns and detaches from Hoseok, eyebrows scrunching, eyes closing. Hoseok just watches quietly, allowing Yoongi to breathe quietly through his parted lips. "It's sad... here."
Hoseok sifts his fingers through the broken piles of cement and glass, letting Yoongi use his ability to see what was here before.
"Mm," Yoongi's lips twitch into a smile and he sighs, "I can see something... it's rather faint, but... I can make out a face. A young man..."
Hoseok stands and watches Yoongi, sliding his hands across his back and wrapping his arms around Yoongi's hips, resting his chin on the shorter male's shoulders.
"There's an entity that's following him." Yoongi's eyes remain closed. "Not tentacles," he adds with a soft giggle and Hoseok snorts, "more like... like shadows. He's angry, I can see it. His eyes are purple...his hair is—it is black... very tall...mm. He's just standing around here—and the shadows are doing all the work. Looks like he's dazed, almost—like—like—ngh, Hoseok..."
Hoseok grips Yoongi's hips harder and the male lets out a shaky gasp, eyes flying open, blood dripping out from between his lips. Hoseok instantly catches Yoongi as he slumps back, shuddering.
"Don't use anymore: you've exhausted yourself." Hoseok says and Yoongi spits out a mouthful of blood, gasping. "Go back to the van." He pushes Yoongi away and stops when the male grabs his hand.
Yoongi whimpers out softly, shaking his head. The male's legs scramble and he gasps out, trembling. "No, I-I don't like that fucking van, Hoseok. I can't stand it—it hurts so much." His eyes well up with tears and Hoseok swallows thickly, grabbing his hands.
