my soul
two souls that conjoined together and somehow became one
in such a senseless type of way
where it felt as if the earth stopped spinning on its axis
where it seemed as if the stars had aligned in such a way to bring our souls closer
the emotions that ran through my veins, the adrenaline that kicks in when those moments occur
yet
somehow, the two souls seem to drift apart
drifting into the places that they were in before everything
as if nothing had happened between the kindled souls
but that's just how life works doesn't it?
time, time is where the souls
will either drift back together or further apart.
