Don't Leave Me (Inuyasha Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Sehara's POV

I woke to the sound of people yelling outside my hut, I slowly sat off my bear skin bed and walked outside, once my foot stepped outside my house, i was bombarded with stones.

people would often do this to me, to blame me for their misfortune and I listened to every single complaint, they all lined up in front of me and began.

"The crops didn't grow well this year, its all your fault" then the village man punched me right in the gut, i doubled over in pain, but it didn't stop there, people just kept blaming me for their problems and each time, i would get beaten for it.

so at the end of the day, i had a cracked rib, broken nose, cut ear, bruised all over and a black eye, this would happen everyday and it has been happening for the past 5 years, that was when my ears were discovered, and when my mother and father died.

My mother was a Beautiful woman, with long, flowing brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, she was a human, my father had short, shaggy white/silver hair and red eyes, he was a Yokai, meaning that i was a hanyou, all they left me when they died, was a massive sword that had the ability the grow and shrink, i named it Akuma (meaning demon), it was my everything.

After my lovely day, I would usually go home and rest, but something told me to go to the woods, I loved the forest, it would always calm me down, with its peaceful sounds and surroundings.

I passed many rivers and many different animals, until I finally stopped at my favorite place, it was a beautiful serene place, it was like a small island, surrounded by water, on the island, was a single cherry blossom tree.

the cherry blossom tree was surrounded by green, lushes grass, there were a few stones making a path way for me, I happily jumped on each one, and landed softly on the green grass.

this may seem a bit strange, but the cherry blossom tree, kinda.....talked to me, I don't know how, but It just could.

the tree told me that its name was Sakura (meaning cherry blossom), I told her that that was a beautiful name and we kinda hit it off, she was my only friend, my only family, she would listen to my every complaint, my every wish and my every story.

she would even give me advice.

( this means Sakura is speaking, this means Sehara is speaking)

"you there Sakura"

"where else would I be"

I giggled slightly at this.

"why are you covered in wounds"

"you know what happened"

I could almost feel her gasp.

"THEY DID IT AGAIN"

I nodded

"why do you stay, why not go"

I had had enough, I wanted to go home and relax, I just wanted to forget the events that had happened.

"I'll see you tomorrow".

tears flowed down my face as I walked back to the village, like usual, some of the children were waiting for me, "look the freaks been crying" the all taunted, I wish I could run away,

But where would I go, where would i run to, where could i run to, so for now, i had to stay put, as much as it pained me, i couldnt leave this villiage, or Sakura.

i entered my hut and new somthing was wrong, i walked into my kitchen area of the place, it was trashed, pieces of broken plates,littered the floor, my vegtables were now squashed, my garden outside was destroyed.

tears streamed down my face as i spotted somthing on the floor, it was a picture of me, my father and my mother, but the frame was all scratched up and the glass had shattered, i picked the now broken picture frame, and clutched it to my chest, i cried into the night, never wanting to see the next day.

Time Skip~

i woke at around noon, to the sound of screaming villagers, i felt like an empty void, i felt like nothing mattered to me anymore, i walked out the door and faced them all, they were screaming and ranting about the things that were my fault, i couldnt take it anymore, my hands bawled into fisted.

"LEAVE ME ALONE" i screamed, all their eyes widened at my tone, a small path way through the middle of the cowd was made,i ran down it and headed to the forest, my sword moving on my back with my every move.

i spotted the clearing in were Sakura was, but somthing wasnt right, i couldnt hear the sound of the birds singing, or the Animals chattering, even the wind didnt dare to move, the air smelt of death and decay.

"stay away" i heard Sakura's voice say, i kept on running towards her, "stay away" she tried again, " whats wrong" i asked her, she didnt answer, the thing that happened next, left me breathless, at first i was standing near the cherry blossom tree, the next thing i know, an explosion destroyes her.

my tears were set free, landing on the blown up ground under neath me, "SAKURA" i screamed, i ran to the now empty island, i felt my knees give way, they hit the ground, i covered my tear stained face with my hands.

the sound of metal  and moving made its way to my ear, i could hear a faint voice "what did you hit" the voice said, through the dust, i could see a massive tank, with a few people on it, not only that, but the tank had a head.

"i hit a stuipid tree" another voice said, 'i hit a stuipid tree', that one sentence made my body tense up, "hey whats that" another diffrent voice said, "i think its a girl", i turned my head slightly,only to see the tank a few meters away from my head.

"get out of my way little girl" a man with long black hair, in a plait said, i didnt move, "i said ge...", i didnt let him finish, in a flash, i pulled out my sword and made it grow, i was then standing behind the man.

"you killed her you bastard" i whispered into his ear, i swung my sword with ease, he did some quick moves and dodged it, i kept trying to hit him but all to no avail, "whats wrong girl, it was just a tree", i gowled, my eyes flashing red.

"burn" i hissed, i pointed my sword to the sky, thunder clouds rolled in, a single blot of lightning travled through the sword and into my arm, "now you will pay" i pointed my hand at him and the electric bolt flew at him, his eyes widened.

it hit, the last thing i remember before falling into darkness, was the sound of him yelling in pain.
