I looked to where Shanna had pointed, and sure enough, there was another house there. We all stepped inside.
This house, unlike the one that popped out of nowhere, actually seemed to have a purpose. I saw monsters patrolling everywhere, and guards too. Soon, I saw the contraption.
It was a large machine, and judging by the windows I saw, most of the action was on the inside. It looked like they took small dead living forms, and then brought them back to life, enlarged them, gave them arms and legs if needed, gave them special abilities, and then the monsters were formed.
This was the factory where the monsters were formed!
"This place is weird, and I don't see why it has to be right here," Luke said.
I pointed to the monster making machine (MMM! That sounds kinda cool!).
"Oh."
The house, at least, wasn't as dirty or creepy as the one we were in... two days ago? I can't remember, honestly. I think it was two days.
Then I heard a rumbling to my right, and there were the monsters, who had caught us. They didn't look too happy.
Time to battle some more monsters.

Sean, Rachel, and Ben had managed to find a weapons room while escaping, but they only found some laser pistols and stuff. Sure, we had that too (Elle and I were charge of them), but Austin and Luke had grenades, and Sam had his rocket launcher, which was VERY powerful. In fact, he used that and took out a good 5 monsters.
Elle and I did our job of blasting several others to death. These pistols are incredibly useful as they have rapid fire, so if we just held the trigger down, they fired endlessly. It didn't look like they had limited ammo, so we just fired away. Austin and Luke did a good job of taking care of several of the monsters with grenades.
We attempted to destroy the machine and were doing a good job until guards stopped by to say hello. We bolted immediately, but it was too late for them, as Sam managed to demolish the machine to oblivion.

Then, I saw a guard hit a red button that said, "Self-Destruct" and an alarm sounded. All the monsters disappeared right then.
"Um, we need to get out of here!" I yelled urgently. But the monsters were smarter than we were, and they locked the door. Luckily, they still didn't know we were armed, and Sam managed to blast the door open.
We escaped with ten seconds to spare, and while we were catching our breath, Luke was being overprotective and asking, "Is everyone alright? Are we all present and accounted for?"
That made me realize something.
"Where's Austin?"

As hard as I struggled, the monsters were able to sneak me out of the group, gag me, and stuff me in a bag. A good and bad thing was that I left my grenades behind, so Luke better be happy with me.
I went unconscious for about 20 minutes, and when I woke up, I was in a cage. The Monster Master was standing in front of me, laughing.
"What do you want with me?" I asked.
The Master just smiled. "You and your friends, sad as it may seem, are nothing but a bunch of little kids. You don't have the brains or powers to defeat us now." He held an orange rock in his hand that glowed. I didn't know what it was, so I decided to not ask about it.
"We monsters have a thing with children. We like to capture them and make them slaves. But the hard part is that most of them won't cooperate. So, we're forced to kill them, or make them prisoners. But you kids- you're special. You seem to be smarter than most kids we've captured, and have more guts, too. But it doesn't matter."
I was getting both bored and angry. "You're not telling me the whole story."
He just smiled again. "I don't need to."
Oh, I hope my friends find me.
