When Zeus called for a thirty-minute recess, Hallie decided to travel to Auradon and take a look at the Kingdom of Goodness. Not only that, it gives Hallie a chance to spy and eavesdrop on the Royal Family about her - hypothetical - arrival. Hallie clutches the key necklace she always wears as if it would give her strength. In the course of her eternal punishment in the Underworld, Hallie found doorways that lead to different places, including Auradon. She can pass through that doorway, and go to a couple of spots where Olympus wouldn't see her, to which she's thankful for that.

But today, she doesn't have time for subtleties. Hallie transports herself to Beast Castle where she finds a window that keeps her hidden from the family, but, at the same time, can listen in on their conversation about the proclamation.

"Ben, think carefully about what you're doing!" Adam exclaims.

"Dad, this proclamation is about second chances; to give them a place here so they can decide who they want to be. Mom gave you one after you scared her off into the woods, imprisoned Grandpa, and screamed at her just for entering your room. And if she can do that for you, then why can't you do the same for them?" argues Ben.

Hallie's eyes widened at the low blow Ben told his father. Adam is still sensitive about his life before he broke the curse, and Ben knew that. Although Hallie is disgusted at Adam for his hypocritical nature on the treatment of VK's and the Isle of the Lost, she felt sorry for him.

"Benjamin, do not speak to your father that way," Belle sternly said.

Ben looked sheepish and guilty for using his father's weak spot against him.

"I'm sorry," he apologized. "But I'm not sorry for doing this. Whether or not they've been guilty of something, I am not going to back down for believing that everyone deserves to start over. To move on from their parents' shadow and finally live a life that's been denied to them," Ben said. "Is that too much to ask?! For you to give them a chance and believe in them?" he argues.

From outside the room, Hallie approved of the Little Prince's frankness. He's standing by his convictions and beliefs, even when he stands alone. But, he truly believes that VK's and AK's can coexist in harmony and peace. At that moment, Ben has earned Hallie's respect and admiration. It takes a lot of strength and courage to do what he's doing, despite the apparent disapproval from his family, his friends, and even his people.

Adam is blown away by the strength in Ben's argument. He knew that his son is as stubborn as his mother, but to hear that kind of passion in his voice made Adam go mute.

"Ben, we don't want anything to happen to you," Adam said.

"Nothing is going to happen, Dad," Ben reassures his father.

"I'm just worried that Halston is going to take advantage of you," he argued.

"Well, stop," confirms Ben. "Halston wouldn't do anything to incur Zeus' wrath. Especially on Auradon and me." There were a couple of things that Hallie could do to annoy Zeus, much less make him angry. But, she kept listening to the Little King on how he'll handle her 'potential' coming here.

"Then, what would be your plan in making sure that doesn't happen?"

Ben thought about it. Adam and Belle wait in curiosity as to how Ben will handle this.

"When Halston comes with the other VK's, we'll get her to sign a contract that she can't physically harm anyone in Auradon."

Hallie's eyes widened at his solution. A contract that's legal and binding, she - as a Goddess - would be bound by her word and that contract.

"The boy is more than what he seems," she thought to herself.

"And, on the off chance, the contract doesn't work out, she'll make a vow - in the presence of Fairy Godmother and Hercules - that she is honor-bound not to physically harm the citizens of Auradon, plot the end of the world, and obey the laws and statures of our kingdom.
