I got to Barry's house when he told me too, the only thing was that Barry was not released from his iinterview yet. I decided to wait on the front porch since nobody was home. Soon, Micheal came on his bicycle. He jumped off and his bicycle dropped to the ground.

"Hey" I greeted him. "Barry isn't out yet."

"I figured." Micheal said. "I got the autopsy report, usually i would say you owe me, but maybe this isn't the time to say so."

"Yeah, definitely, but thank you, really." I said. "Anyway, do you have a key or something?"

Micheal chuckled, "God, no, Barry isn't out yet." He walked towards the side of the house. "I sneak in through the window all the time, its probably and most likely open."

"To the window we go." I said, sarcastically.

Micheal opened the window, "Bingo." He said. He proceeded to throw his backpack in, then gestured for me to go in as well. I jumped in and landed hard on Barry's bedroom floor. I heard a dog bark from the hallway, and i turned back at Micheal who was still standing outside.

"Aren't you coming inside?" I asked him.

"I have to hide my bike first, I'll only be a few minutes." He smiled. "Go ahead and make yourself at home." He ran out of the window's view and all i heard were his converse slapping on the ground.

I got of the floor and looked around. Barry's bedroom was just like him, extra. The walls were painted yellow, the furniture was white and the bedspread was as yellow as the walls. The color was overwhelming and i got a bit of a headache. On his desk were a bunch of photographs of himself and Micheal. I saw one with the Colorado sign behind them. I wondered who Barry's parents thought Micheal was. Maybe they just thought he was a very good friend.

Micheal jumped through the window. "Well, let's look at the report." He grabbed the backpack that was laying flat next to the desk chair. "We can sit on his bed, he won't mind...I hope."

We both sat on Barry's bed and Micheal pulled out a beige envelope from his bag. "Now, we will find out if you're the killer or not." He chuckled.

"Not funny." I rolled my eyes, "Anyway, what will this report show us?"

Micheal replied, "Just what they found on the body, and what the cause of death was."

He opened the envelope and out came a paper. He read it to me, "No DNA evidence was found; that's good news for you."

"That proves I'm not the killer then, I mean obviously, but if they have no trace of me that just proves it."

"You're forgetting about the evidence, babe." Micheal said. "Oh shit..."

"What? What is it?" I asked, deeply concerned on what he read. "Was it about me?"

"There were carvings on the body." Micheal gasped. "That's batshit crazy, it was gruesome apparently."

"What were they?" I asked him.

"This is the general thing, since this is for 'the press'." Micheal explained. "The coroner didn't right any full details for me."

"Fuck." I said. "I wanna know."

Before any of us could say anything, Barry came in through the bedroom door. "Hey guys." He waved. "I have good news, bad news."

"Bad news first." I said. Micheal nodded as if to agree with me.

"Bad news, since people envy you, they're telling the police that they know you personally and that you're like a psycho."

"That's bullshit." I was frustrated. "I just moved here."

"Good news, I heard a officer say even if people say you killed Genivieve, they can't arrest you if they have no evidence."

"That's great news." Micheal said. "The autopsy showed no DNA evidence of Lacey here, now we just have to wait on the other stuff."

"Let's hope nobody planted shit on the crime scene that could get me arrested." I crossed my fingers. "How did i even get involved in this?"

"Not sure, hon." Barry hugged me.

All of the sudden, my phone rang and it startled all three of us. I checked the contact, it read Rain.

"Boy toy?" Micheal asked.

I rolled my eyes and answered. "Hey Rain."

"Speaker!" Barry whispered loudly.

"Who was that?" Rain asked from the other side.

I put him on speaker, "The TV." I chuckled. "What's up?"

"I talked to my mom about coming to Florida." He said.

"What did she say?" I asked. Barry and Micheal raised their eyebrows.

"I can come next week." He said. "She actually said in a month, but i have the money right now and you need me right now."

"Wait, what do you mean?" I stuttered. "How did you convince her to change it to next week?"

"I didn't, I bought my ticket without telling her."

Micheal squealed and Barry punched my arm. "Keeper!"

"Are you mentally insane?" I was in shock. "Rain, you're crazy, you can't do that."

"I'd be crazy to not come when you need me." He said. "I have to go, bye Cece."

"Bye." He hung up.

"Who is this Rain?' Micheal asked me.

"He was my best friend back in North Dakota, we had feelings for each other always, but we never did anything until my last day, we made out and now we're in this weird stage."

"Young love, am I right?" Barry laughed. "You're so getting married."

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes, but secretly, i hoped so.

Micheal looked up at me, "Oh my god."

Me and Barry looked at him.

"You were cleared." He smiled. "You're no longer a suspect!"

I laughed of relief. "How? I wasn't even interviewed."

He showed me a Snapchat story from the account, 'United Miami High News' it showed Giselle walking out of the police station with the caption: GISELLE RESCUES FELLOW CHEEREADER'S REPUTATION!

"Huh, guess Giselle likes you." Barry's eyebrows were raised, as in shock. "She cleared your name."

Micheal tapped to the next story which was Giselle speaking. He turned up the volume and we all squished together to watch the tiny phone screen.

"I can assure you, my fellow cheerleader, Lacey is not capable nor involved in Genivieve's murder." Giselle told the Snapchat camera. "If this is coming from me, Gen's closest friend, then you have no reason not to believe me, so, please stop spreading rumors and nonsense...thank you."

I felt a buzz from my phone. I picked it up and saw the message awaiting me.

It was from Giselle and it read:

You owe me BIG time
