"Do you have to?" I pondered.
"Yes, I need to escape my witchy ass mother." She replied, heaving heavy sighs.
"I just wish you could stay."
"So do I, but it doesn't matter. It was bound to happen."
"Yeah yeah I know."
She was gone, packing her life away from me.
I couldn't help but think. Are we still gonna be friends? She'll forget me for sure. I'm nothing special. We will never meet again. And then I thought of the stupidest thing. You know what, I'm gonna distance myself from her. It'll hurt less. But that's crazy because she still loves me right? And I love her?
She doesn't have the time for you anymore.
She's packing.
She never loved you. She was a fake friend.
Would a fake friend risk so much?
Forget her because she'll forget you. You don't matter. Not to her, not to anyone.
You're right... she won't text me everyday. I'm just too needy, clingy, and she would be glad to have a fresh start without a clingy friend. She would thrive without me. And that's what scared me the most.
