i want this chapter to go far.
enjoy.jahseh
after my visitation with all my boys from the outside, i began to feel better about the situation i am in.
i've been in my cell for about an hour or so, i'm writing down hooks and verses that come to mind.
i'm almost done with this collective of songs i have been working on.
the goal is to turn this into my first studio album. i want to give my supporters some heart felt music to relate to.
"what are you working on right now?" stokeley asks as he looks over my shoulder.
"just writing another song, i'm almost done with it."
"with the song or the whole project?" stokeley asks.
"both."
stoke replies with a "hm" sound.
"you wanna see the song i just finished?" i ask.
he looks over as his eyes widen, most likely because i haven't asked him to look at a song before.
"y-yeah let me see." he says with his hand out reaching for my notebook.
i hand him the notebook with my thumb in between the pages i feel a little self conscious all of the sudden.

i grabbed jah's notebook and look at it.
at the very top it read what i figured was the title, it read Depression and Obsession.
i read the first few lines when all of the sudden i could feel a slight pinch in my chest
i couldn't tell you why.
it made me sad to know that jahseh felt this way, it made me sad to know that i could relate.
after i finished reading it, i hand him the notebook back and slouch back into my seat as i let out a big sigh.
"what's wrong?" he asks.
"hm?" i reply as i look up at him
"your body language, what's wrong?" he responds, he looks serious.
"did you not like it? because if you didn't like it just say so, be honest with me, don't hold in what you want to say for my sak-"
"jahseh chill, i never said i didn't like it."
"then what is it?" he asks.
"why is some of your music so depressing?" i ask.
he sits there and looks down.
"oh jahseh.. i didn't mean to offend yo-"
"why is it so depressing?" he cuts me off repeating my question.
