CHAPTER THREE :-)

Harry's POV

I had so many questions to ask her but first I needed to know something. "Hey Rose, When is your birthday?" "August 5" she said looking around "Whoaa.. This is like a castle. Soo bigggg" I smiled at her. "Do you want to meet my friends Rose?" She nodded excitedly. "yes yes yes" "then shall we go??" "yes, lets go"

I took her to the grand hall. On entering I saw her awed expression. So cute. I saw Hermione and Ron sitting in the Gryffindor table glaring at Draco. They saw me entering and waved their hands. Their expressions grew confused on seeing Rose.

I went there and sat along with Rose on the opposite side of them. "Rose there are my best friends Hermione and Ron" pointing to each of them and them waving to her and she waving back to them "and guys, this is Rose, my younger sister." "YOUNGER SISTER!!!" they exclaimed together. I said calmly "Long story, will explain later." "Nice to meet you Ron and Hermione" "Nice to meet you too Rose" Hermione replied smiling. Ron was still shocked to tell anything.

"So, what's new guys?" I asked them. Hermione replied "Nothing, except Draco boasting about his arm." I moved a bit to see Draco whining about his arm to Pansy "It comes and goes. Still... I consider myself lucky. According to Madam Pomfrey, another minute or two... and I could've lost the arm." Ron came to his senses to speak about Draco "The little git. He's really laying it on thick, isn't he?" I heard a small voice from my side " What is a git??" Hermione smacked Ron in his head and told her "Git is a bad word. You should never say that to anyone ok??" "ok" she is such a good girl. Ahh. And I gotta lay some rules for the boys.

Just while thinking about that Seamus shouted bringing the daily prophet "He's been sighted!" the other Griffindors huddled around us seeing the paper. Rose crawled into my lap. "who" Ron asked. The answer was clearly in the paper, the picture of Sirius black was printed in the front page. Hermione read it and said "Achintee? That's not far from here..." Neville's scared voice came from behind me "You don't think he'd come to Hogwarts, do you?" to which Lavender said "With the Dementors at every entrance?" Then Seamus said a valid point "Dementors? He's already slipped by them once, hasn't he? Who's to say he can't do it again?" "That's right. Black could be anywhere. It's like trying to catch smoke. Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands."

A voice came from my lap "Who is this man??" everyone turned towards Rose. I sighed and said "He is a very bad person. Ok?" " And you are going to catch him??" "maybe" I said smiling. She grinned in response. I turned to the guys "Will be explained soon." They soon dispersed.

Time skip (To dinner)

The hall was packed and was confused as to why I was having a three year old kid next to me.

Professor Dumbledore got up "I have an important announcement to make. Rose, come here please" she looked at me. I nodded and gestured her to go. " She got up and walked towards Dumbledore nervously because of all the stares she was getting. Upon reaching there she took hold of Dumbledore's hand. He continues "Many of you may be confused as to why a small kid is here. She is Rose Potter. The Daughter of James and lily Potter. The younger sister of Harry Potter." Hearing this there was a lot of whispers. But Professor Dumbledore continued on "She was stuck in the vortex of time all this time. I hope you all give her a warm welcome. Please feel free to guide her and take care of her as she is going to be living here from now on"

Rose pulled on Professor Dumbledore's robes. He knelt to her height which made it convenient for her to whisper in his ears. After a few seconds he smiled and carried her in his arms and brought her to the mic. She came a bit near the mic and said "Hello everyone, I am Rose Potter. Its nice to meet you. I am three years old. Please take care of me" she ended her introduction with a grin in the end.

The entire hall started to clap and awed at her. Me as her brother stood shouted and clapped loudly along with Ron. She in return smiled shyly. When Dumbledore placed her at her feet she ran to me and gave me a hug and me of course I hugged her back. Only "awwwww" was heard in the hall. That's when I made a promise to myself ' I will protect her with my life.' Professor Dumbledore then announced the dinner to start. Rose was staring awed at the food "soo much food" I heard her telling to herself." I took her plate and put some food into it and gave It to her.

She immediately started digging into it. So cute. I then kept for myself and started eating. After a few minutes Fred and George came behind me "You never told us you had a younger sister Harry." "and such a cute one in that" they finished. I replied "I myself came to know it today" They nodded and turned to my sister. She was watching them curiously. "Hi, little one" "we are Fred" "and George Weasley" "nice to meet you" they finished together. "Whoa! Are you twins? I have never seen twins before. I am Rose Potter, nice to meet you." She said with a cute grin on her face. The guys immediately hugged her "You are soo cute." "Thank you" she smiled. She will fit right in. 😊
