CHAPTER SIX :-)

Harry's POV

The students stood in a long queue holding their permission form. Professor McGonagall was instructing the students "Remember! These visits to Hogsmeade Village are a privilege. Should your behaviour reflect poorly on the school in any way, that privilege shall not be extended again." I approached her but before I can utter a single word she said "No permission form. No visiting the Village. That's the rule, Potter." "Yes, Professor, but I thought if you said I could go -- " "But I don't say so. A parent or guardian must sign, and since I am neither, it would be inappropriate. I'm sorry, Potter. But that's my final word."

Now I had to stay alone here. Rose was allowed to go with supervision. I didn't want her to be cooped up here so I let her go along with Hermione and Ron. At least she should enjoy.

Hermione's POV

First we decided to go to Honeydukes to buy sweets for Rose. When we went inside the scent of candy hit us like a truck. I looked at Rose to see her eyes wide and sparkling seeing the sweets. Cute.

We left the shop with three bags of all kinds of candy. I kept those in my bag with extendable charm. I saw Rose who was looking at everything with curiosity in her eyes and with a lollipop in her mouth. I took her hand, we next went to Zonko's joke shop. It was completely full of pranking supplies. It was dangerous bit fun to see. We saw Fred and George buying Dung bombs there. They saw Rose almost immediately and ran towards us. They went straight towards Rose and picked her up. She giggled and hugged them. I heard Ron muttering beside me " Yeah nice to see you here Ron."

"Are you having fun Rosie?? Did you buy things??" they asked Rose. She replied with a twinkle in her eyes "Yup! I bought lotsssss of candy" "That's amazing little Rose. Come on we will show you the best pranking supplies here." I stepped in and took Rose in my arms and said "I'm sorry Fred and George but I don't think Harry would be happy if you do that. Besides we were just leaving." "Hi Hermione, Rom didn't see you there." "No problem. Now if you excuse us we have to get going." "you are excused" they replied.

Next we went to the post office. There were about 200 owls, all sitting on colour coded shelves, depending on how fast you want your letter to go. Rose was petting the owls there which they seemed to like.

Next we went to Dervish and Banges where Ron bought a pocket sneakoscope for Harry. Rose also bought a few different keychains and necklaces.

After that it was time to go back to Hogwarts.

Harry's POV

(In the great hall)

Rose, Hermione and Ron came back from Hogsmeade. After we sat down Hermione placed three large bags of candy and one small bag in front of Rose. Rose took the smaller bag and took out a lightning bolt keychain which looked strikingly similar to my scar and gave it to me. I hugged and gave her a kiss in the cheek. "Thank you very much Rose." She grinned and replied "Your Welcome"

She then took a keychain with a book and wand together, and gave it to Hermione. She also took a small necklace with a blue crystal and gave it to Hermione. "I thought it would look nice on you." She said shyly. Hermione replied, "Thank you, Rose. I love it." To which she smiled and went to Ron.

She took out a keychain with a broom and gave it to Ron who thanked her.

Time Skip (the moving stairs in the seventh floor corridor outside Gryffindor dorms)

We were going up the stairs to find to crowded. Ron asked "What's the hold-up? Only Neville ever forgets the password." Percy was pushing up the stairs shouting that he was the head boy. When he reached up he shouted "Back! All of you! No one is to enter this dormitory until it has been fully searched!" we looked at each other. Ginny came from the crowd "The Fat Lady... she's gone."

"Probably stuffing her face with the apples in that still life on the second floor again." Ron joked. But Ginny was still gloomy. "No. You don't understand –" we looked to see the fat lady's portrait slashed as if it was done by an animal. Just then Dumbledore ordered "Mr. Filch. Round up the ghosts. Tell them to search every painting in the castle for the Fat Lady."

The other portraits started whispering. Filch narrowed his eyes and said " There'll be no need for ghosts, Professor..." He pointed to a painting where the fat lady was cowering. "Dear lady. Who did this to you?" Dumbledore asked. "Eyes like the devil he's got. And a soul as dark as his name. It was him, Headmaster. The one they talk about. He's here. Somewhere in the castle. Sirius Black." She replied as if she was in a trace.

The students started whispering but Dumbledore's voice cut through " Secure the castle, Mr. Filch. The rest of you... to the Great Hall." I looked down to take Rose but saw that she was not there???????
