Chapter 2-Let the Journey Begin!

As Dex finished Explaining to Ace, and Chris on the couch of her Apartment after the party she sat down and sighed "you get it?" She asked nervously.

Chris is tapping his finger doing a extreme face of thinking as Ace is tilting his head just processing this "so...your father gave you this ring, which could be a magical Artefact which now a days is worth, MILLIONS..and said to find the other ones and assemble a team?" Ace asks quite tired from party.

She'd nod and Chris stood heading to kitchen "WATCH OUT WORLD GREEN HAIR BOY IRON MAN, DROOPY THOR, AND BLUE BERRY BLACK WIDOW COMING TO GET YA BOOTIIESSSS RRRR" he says completely not buying this and Dex sighed.

"I know this doesn't sound believable, but Magic does exist and so did quests, why can't we do one?" She asks getting Ace on her side a bit enjoying the sounds of this, but Chris shook his head sipping on coke.

Chris would walk over and sat down "i get it, woo cool ass Adventure, but there is one problem.." He says as Dex comes closer "WE GOT JOBS, i got Repair man, Librarian, and life guard, and im keeping up my side of rent and Ace got the Movers job he just got, and you got bloody video game testing week coming up for your side of rent..where in all of that will we do this so called quest.." he says as Ace thinks about it, sighing and then nods but Dex shook her head and stood up.

She'd look down at the sitting boys "come on, this one last thing for us, we can sell what we can and go out, lets do something new and not worry about money, Ace your a Angel, your entire species lived off Quests, they were made for quests I saw you delivering that kids box and he threw glue at your face, it was just sad seeing that.." she preached kinda as Ace looked down nodding "and you chris, your the most hard working man I know, you can do this for your self, visit the world, see people, GET A GIRLFRIEND" she said as Chris went to talk but held the thought after thinking "so..who's with me.?" She asks realising she yelled kinda and sat down.

Chris sighed and walked off to the back "listen Dex..You both have good points but I doubt it'd be a good idea to-" Ace tried to explain before Chris dropped multiple guns onto the table in front of them both, from a few hand guns, and a single machine gun with a crap ton of ammo "holy shit.." Ace replied.

"Welp, Dex is right, may as well get a life then living as a robot so Ace, you know Combat? Teach her how to, I don't need it, I got those.." Chris explained as Ace sighed and smiled as we all did hands in middle.

We all broke and Dex yelled "GO GOOPY SQUAD!" She looked excited as Chris took the guns away sighing heading to the other room and Ace face palmed at the team name "what! It's good!..right?" She asked as both shook their head "we can think of another name later."

After two hours of training between Dex and Ace, they came back into Apartment, sweating, even panting as Chris sat on couch playing Slime Rancher but as he sold his last plort He switched it to the News channel and said "how was it?" He asked with a smile.

The two sat down onto couch panting "it went great she threw a great punch and took out a tooth of mine.." Ace replied, but Dex shushed them both as she pointed to news where a insane amount of monsters were invading the City south from them and She looked at the two with a happy face as the two looked at her with despair "really..?" Ace asked nervously.

She squealed a bit going to her room packing stuff to go, food, medical stuff, clothes and her Golden slime plushy she hides her magical ring she got from her father, "guessing that is a yes.." Chris responds as he got up smacking his leg and Ace groaned in pain and Chris went off to pack stuff to "GO PACK BIRDY!!" Chris yelled as Ace went out to go pack "MEET US OUTSIDE WITH YO SHIT."

After a hour all three packed their things into Chris's car, and they begin heading towards the City taking detours so military doesn't stop them in their tracks..."yay yay! Quest time Quest time!" Dex cheered as the boys knew they had at least 5 hours to make it to the city regular routes, god knows how long with detours as she sang her song.

But as Chris finally made it half way they stopped at a Hotel for then they were preparing for the next day and getting a nice long sleep.
