Jaeduck's eyes widened. He felt his phone and his whole world drop. Everything just stopped.
He couldn't hear.
He couldn't speak.
He couldn't breathe.
He couldn't do any of those, not without Jiwon in this world.
Tony hurriedly rushed to the kitchen to check what the noise was. "Jaeduck-ah, what happened?" he asked. He couldn't reply back because he was at lost for words.
"Jiwon," he whispered, eyes brimming with tears. Tony picked up Jaeduck's phone for him and raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" he asked. Then, he felt his own phone buzz. He quickly took it out of his pocket to check and gasped.
'Member of 1st Generation Idol Group Sechskies Eun Jiwon, Aged 41, Found Dead'
"J-jiwon hyung, he- he's-" Jaeduck choked on his breath, falling to the ground - Tony catching him right on time - and letting his tears fall. Tony held onto the smaller man tightly, letting him cry onto his chest. "S-seungho, he's gone. J-jiwon is-," his voice cracked as he allowed more tears to exit his eyes. "He- he's-"
Tony gently pulled him closer and dug his fingers in his hair, inhaling the sweet scent of his hair. "I know, sweetie. I know," he murmured, holding his best friend close.
Jaeduck cried his heart out as Tony held him close, to make sure he doesn't faint. He was shocked too, and notifications were buzzing heavily from their respective phones but neither of them were going to check because they already knew what the hundreds of texts would be about.

Jaijin strongly clutched onto the steering wheel and was driving faster than usual. Suwon sighed and wiped the sweat away from the older man's forehead from the shotgun seat. "Hyung, slow down,"
"No, I can't slow down! Jiwon is dead, DEAD! He's gone, Suwon! How can you expect me to fucking slow down?!"
Frightened by his sudden outrage, Suwon backed away and hung his head. He was sad about Jiwon too, and it hurt to know that one of them had died. Jaijin's gaze softened when he saw how upset he was.
"I'm sorry, Suwon. I-i couldn't control myself," his voice got lower with every word. In response, Suwon nodded. "I know. Just don't forget to pick up Sunghoon,"
Jaijin sighed and leaned backwards. This was going to be a long day.
