Forgive me but I don't recall ferrets being on the list of acceptable creatures to bring to hogwarts. (Because you can see Albus Severus caring a FERRET. There is a picture)
But they're Harry Potters kids. I'm sure they're allowed to bring giraffes to scool and get away with it.
They will also be allowed to join he quiddich team during first year and apparatus in school grounds.
The forbidden forest is just the Forrest,to Harry's children. There is no curfew. When Harry Potters kids see teachers out of bet they sold them. Hogsmeade permission slip? I think not.
