The disappearance of Will Byers

Amy's pov:

Today was another boring school day, I grab my backpack and bike and cycle into school. I got there really early for some reason and parked my bike where I usually park it and wait for the rest of our gang to get here.

After a while Mike, Lucas and Dustin turn up....but no Will. "Where's Will?" Asks Mike "maybe he just showed up really early like he always does" says Lucas "yea you know how he doesn't like to be late" says Dustin "but I've been-" they just walk off, yea I have news and they're not even listening. I groan and run after them "WAIT UP" I shout.

We all run over to our lockers, which are suprisingly right next to each other "still no Will...." I say starting to panic "uh oh, this is bad rrrreeallllyyy bad!" Says Dustin pacing up and down the hall starting to panic "m-maybe he's just hiding" suggests Lucas "no, he would just ditch school...somethings up".

We walked into science class and sat next to each other as usual, Mike was on my left, Will on my right....but Will's not here right now...is he.

Our teacher Mr. Clarke called the roll "Mike Wheeler?" "Here!" "Dustin Henderson?" "HERE!!!" "Lucas Sinclair?" "Here sir!" "Amy Maguire?" "HEREEE" "Will Byers?" "Will?" "He's uhm...not here sir..." I say staring at the ground "oh ok, I'll mark him out then, thank you Amy" "No problem sir...".

Me and the rest of the gang look at each other worried "ok, let our class begin".

~time skip to after class~

It was break time and me and the rest of the boys decided to go outside. I walked out first to see Troy and James smirking at me, Troy walks closer to me, we were almost touching noses gross! "Hey there sweetheart" said Troy breathing into my face "brush your teeth lately Troy?" I say smirking at him "course I did, I only did it cause I was gonna kiss you" he said pulling me closer in and trying to kiss me on the lips "ew piss off" I kick him in the nuts and walk backwards "ow......" Troy says stumbling backwards "hey Amy, u good?" Asks Dustin "yep, just fine" I say smirking at Troy "HAHAHAHA" says Dustin laughing loudly "piss off toothless!" Says Troy.

I walk up to him "back for more gorgeous" Troy says winking at me "yap" I say smiling, then I push him into a bush "HELP, JAMES I CAN'T GET OUT" he shouts, Me and my mates laugh at their misery.

James tries to get Troy out but ends up getting himself stuck as well "TROY I CAN'T GET OUT" Shouts James "YEA ME TOO DINGUS" Troy struggles to get out again "bye bye boys" I say turning around and walking off back into the school "WAIT DON'T LEAVE ME HERE GORGEOUS" he shouts at me "did you hear something?" I say to Mike "nope, did you guys hear something?" Mike asks Dustin and Lucas "not a thing" they both say in sync "welp, come on guys" we all walk back into the school, leaving Troy and James out there alone.

Troy's pov:

I walked outside with my best mate James and just after we did I saw that gorgeous girl Amy, I don't know why she hangs out with those ridiculous losers, but I'm sure she has her reasons, she spotted me! Time to look good, as always.

I walk up to her, a nice charming smirk on my face, I walk so close to her that we're touching noses, great "hey there sweetheart" I say "brush your teeth lately Troy?" She asks "course I did, I only did it cause I was gonna kiss you" I pull her I'm closer and lean in to kiss her "ew piss off" she said to me and soon after that, she kicked me in the nuts "ow......" I say slightly in pain, but I liked that way she could be so aggressive, made her more attractive.

All of a sudden Dustin aka 'toothless' started laughing his head off "piss off toothless!" I say. Then Amy walks closer to me "back for more gorgeous" I say winking at her, she must be, why else would she be here "yap" she says back, yes finally! She's definitely into me. She smiles at me and pushes me into a bush!!!!.

"HELP, JAMES I CAN'T GET OUT" I shout trying to get out, but they all just LAUGH!. James tries to get me out, but he falls in too, idiot "TROY I CAN'T GET OUT" Shouts James "YEA ME TOO DINGUS" I shout back at him "bye bye boys" says Amy turning around "WAIT DON'T LEAVE ME HERE GORGEOUS" I shout at her, but she just ignores me! Pretends I'm not even here! I like it.

After her and the dorks left, James and I eventually got out "hey Troy, u hear that Will Byers is missing" says James to me out of nowhere "oh really now" I say smirking "yep, maybe you could get Amy now, since Byers isn't there to stop you" "you're right James!" Amy and Byers have a very close relationship, always stops me from getting near her, but with him gone, I have a way better chance.

Amy's pov:

After school I went over to Wills house to see if he was there, I knock on the door "hello? Ms. Byers?" I say waiting for the door to be opened. Just a few moments later, the door opens and Ms. Byers (Joyce) smiles at me "Amy, Amy, Amy, come in please I need to ask you a couple of questions" she says bringing me into her house "uhm ok?" I say slightly confused.

Joyce sits me down on a couch and sits in front of me on the opposite side "ok" she starts "your friends with my son, Will, right?" "Yes, I am" I say "ok good good, have you, seen him recently?" She asks very concern "no, not after we left Mikes house the other day..." I say looking away "oh, o-ok" she says stuttering "well, thank you anyways Amy" Joyce looks away and stands up, brushing some none existing dust off her "uhm, are, are you ok Ms. Byers?" I say looking at her extremely concern "oh, me, of course I am darling, now you run along and have a lovely day!" Says Joyce pushing me out the door "uhm...ok..Thank you Joy-" I get cut off by her slamming the door in my face "oh...ok then" I say quietly, then walk away slightly dissapointed.

Jonathan's pov:

Will hadn't come home today, we're all slightly worried, especially my mom.

I sit in my room and then I hear a knock on the door. I peak out my bedroom door and see Amy, one of Will's best friends. My mom brings her in, oh great here come the questions.

~time skip~

"Mom what the hell?!" I say walking out of my room "what is it Jonathan!?" She says to me in an angry tone "Why did you slam the door in her face?!" I ask pointing at the door at the same time "I don't know! Go to your room Jonathan". I look at her disappointed and walk into my room, slamming the door behind me.

I stare out my bedroom window, thinking of places Will could be; the arcade?, in his little den outside?, the shed?, Amy's backyard?, Mikes basement, I don't know...but I am going to find him, he's my little brother why wouldn't I.

I get off my bed and have an idea. I run into Will's bedroom and search for something that might help us find him. I take everything out of every drawer, check under his bed, in his duvet, everywhere! Until, I find an un-finished letter underneath a lamp, I grab it and read it. To my suprise, it was a letter for Amy, asking her on a, date? Wow. Anyway, it said to meet him somewhere, 'the back of the arcade'.
