I could barely breathe. My heart had stopped beating until the moment she said yes. I mean I know she has always wanted a wedding and she loves me...but, I guess, I still get scared when it come to matters of the heart.
I can feel her crying on my neck as she latches on to me filled with joy. She slowly loosens her grip and turns around as Landon brings Emery.
"My baby! Wait...what are you guys doing here?" Tess raises an eyebrow as she takes Emery into her arms.
"You really think we wouldn't be here to celebrate?" Landon smirks.
"Celebrate?"
"Oh, I thought Hardin had told you."
Tessa turns around and questions me.
"Well it was supposed to be a surprise, but we're meeting the whole family tonight at Vance's house, Kimberly's throwing the engagement party..."

„It's a good thing I said yes then." Tess looks up and smirks.

„Okay, future bride to be, how do you want to spend the rest of your day?" Sophia makes her way over to the love of my life.

„Obviously with her husband to be." I mean I just professed my love to her and now she's supposed to spend the day with someone else? Hell no.

"Oh come on, you'll have her for the rest of your life." Landon's wife takes my baby's hand and leads her back to the car.

And just when I was about to tell Sophia to go and piss off, Tessa turns around kisses me as my mouth opens and whispers in my ear.
"Come on babe, I'll make Soph babysit for it and we'll have the whole night to ourselves..."

That's my girl.

As Tess, Emery and Sophia drive away, my phone rings, Vance.

I can hear by his voice that something's up.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing, just wondering when u will be here." He stutters in his attempt to lie.
But before i could even get one word out I can hear the beeping sound indicating that he has already hung up.
Ass.
"We need to go to Vance's, now. Something's going wrong." I look one to Landon who had already made his way to the car.
I get in and drive to my fath- I mean, Vance's house.

We pull up to the enormous mansion and step out.
Oh no.

The minute my foot hit the stone I could here them.
Carol and my mum.

"You cannot seriously think that my daughter would be getting married in England do you? Keep on dreaming hag!"
"Ironic, you calling me a hag, seeing as your the one who nobody could stand, up to a year ago." My mum laughs in Carol's face.
What the hell is happening?
I mean mum and Carol haven't exactly ever been best friends except for that one time she told Tessa to leave me, ya, haven't forgiven her for that yet, but I can't remember the last time they fought like this.

"Thank god you're here! Now use you obnoxious accent to break this cat fight up!"
"Kim, what bullshit's happened now?"
"It's your guys' moms, it all started out fine until yours said she couldn't wait to see the great british wedding."

Yeah, good going mum. She's such a loudmouth. I mean ya I had talked to her about a british wedding but I haven't even mentioned it to Tessa yet and here she is blabbing it to the world.

"Mum!" Both women turn around and give me a stare.
"Could you middle aged ladies find it in you hearts to shut up and keep decorating, she's gonna be here soon."
The both of them go their separate ways, thank god...even though I have the feeling that wasn't the last fight of the evening.

Anyways, I couldn't care less. I have more important matters to attend to, one of them being a surprise for Tess that doesn't even bother being punctual.

I make my way into the living room while everyone else carries on decorating the dining room.
I can't help but think about Tess in her wedding dress...I wonder what it'll look like, not that it matters since no matter what she puts on makes me hard.

What is keeping my thoughts occupied though, is the question if Tessa would consider a London wedding... I mean I'm sure she'd be fine with it, everything else we've done her way. But then again is it selfish of me to expect that if her.
Oh lord, look at me, thinking about how a wedding in London may destroy her dreams, the same me who was willing to fool her into moving to London with me. Well, I am not exactly the same me I guess, but still, the irony.

5pm. He's late. Is he so stupid that he can't read a fucking clock. Tessa's going to be here in an hour if everything goes to plan.

I pace around the room waiting for her surprise to arrive. Thinking about wedding dresses and menus and setting the date. God, when did I become such a pussy.

Ding dong.
My legs move faster than anticipated rushing me to the door.
Why am I acting like this? I hate this idiot.
Standing in front of the door preparing myself to open the door I can already see the blonde locks through the frothy glass on the front door.

I will not start a fight, I won't say anything unnecessary, so what the last time I saw this guy he tried to act like I was the bad guy, okay I kind of was, but whatever.
Man up Hardin.

Finally getting out of my thoughts I latch onto the doorknob, turn it, revealing an old, familiar, slightly laughable face.

"Hey Hardin! How are you?"

Mr. 'GAP' sweater himself.

Noah.
