"Why are you being so nice to me? You hardly know me" you sniffled.

"I dont like seeing people sad" peter smiled "and just because i dont know you very well right now, doesnt mean i cant get to know you better."

"Hey y/n?" your dad said as he knocked on your door

You wiped away the rest of your tears "you can come in" you said

"Do you wanna have a movie night tonight?" tony asked

"Yeah, can i pick the movie?" you asked

"As long as its not a dumb movie"

"Do you count pitch perfect as a dumb movie?" you asked

"Yes i do." he responded

"Well that sucks cause thats what we are gonna watch. Peter do you wanna join?"

"Id love too" peter smiled

Tony left and shut the door, you turned to peter

"I think im gonna take a shower" you said

"Okay, have fun" he said, he got up and started walking to the door

"Hey peter-" you stopped him

"Yeah?" he asked as he turned around to face you

"Thank you" you smiled

"Any time love" he smiled and walked out the door.

You grabbed your clothes and started heading to the bathroom. You turned on the speaker and opened spotify. The first song that played was Moments by One Direction.

You stripped your clothes and got into the shower. You sat on the floor and pulled your knees to your chest. Tears started falling from your eyes, you bite your knee to keep your self quiet. The song ended and the next song played. Untiled by Mxmtoon. You listen to the lyrics and slowly feel yourself breaking inside

"Why is this happening to me... why me?" you said to yourself quietly.

You continued crying on the shower floor until Natasha knocked on the door,

" y/n? Are you okay? Youve been in there for an hour" she asked

You didnt answer

"y/n?" she said again

You didnt answer

"y/n im coming in."

You didnt bother, you didnt move or speak or do anything, you just sat as you felt tears fall down your face.

Natasha pulled back the shower curtain and turned off the water, she grabbed your arm and pulled you up

"y/n what is the matter?" she asked

You didnt say anything.

Natasha grabbed your towel and wrapped you in it. She brought you out to your room and sat you down at your desk. She dried off your hair with a towel and braided it in two french braids. She layed out some clothes on your bed and then walked back over to you

"I dont know whats going on, but please get dressed and then come talk to me" she said

You nodded your head.

Natasha walked out of your room. You sat for another 5 minutes and then shook all the thoughts from your head. You walked over to the clothes natasha laid out for you, it was a starwars tshirt and pajama pants. You put the clothes on and then walked out of your room. You walked in the living room and saw everyone sitting there and staring at you

"What?" you asked

"Nothing" everyone said and they turned there heads back to the tv

You ignored their looks and walked over to the couch. you sat next to natasha. she looked at you and you gave her a small smile. you laid your head on her shoulder and sighed. 

The truth was, you didn't know what was wrong with you. depression and anxiety ran in the family but you thought you didn't have a reason to be depressed, you had everything you could ever want, everything in your life was going right you genuinely didn't have a reason to be sad. other than some of the shit that happened at school, but still. despite everything that happened at school, your home life was amazing. yeah you fought with your dad sometimes, but who doesn't fight with their parents, other than an occasional argument between you and your dad, you had everything you could ever want.

so what is wrong with me?
