Cain's POV

I woke up to the disturbing sound of birds chirping I groaned in aggravation

I hissed as the rays of the sun came crashing down on my face

'The sun it burns!' I thought to myself

Personally I hate the sun just like my father did mother however missed the sun's heat on her body

I abruptly got up when I heard knocking on the door

"Who is it?" I called

"It's sebastian prince Cain"

The butler soon came into the room

"Oh it's you butler what is it?" I asked

"My young master wishes to speak with you prince Cain he wishes to learn more about vampires and since your mother refused him at first he was wondering if you could enlighten him" sebastian said

"Very well it's not like I have anything important to do"

"I will inform my master of your presence since I will be busy making curry for the contest at the crystal palace I hope you can keep him company" sebastian said

I changed clothes and headed towards the library where lord phantomhive was

I saw him sitting in a chair with a book and also a chessboard was set on the small table

"Lord phantomhive I presume?"

"Prince Cain good morning"

"For us vampires morning is not good"I stated

I sat in the chair across him

"This book supposedly is about vampires and tells about how vampires kill humans and turn them into their servants for all eternity"

"It's true that many human have written books about our existence ever since humans encountered us however most of the information in those books are false"

"Oh really why is that?" phantomhive asked

"Because earl most of the authors of those books died of a terrible illness the illness that turns humans into vampires slowly killed them also most who have tried ever technique in the books only managed to injure the vampire not kill it" I said

"So these things can hurt a vampire but not kill it interesting" phantomhive smirked

"So where's your father Cain isn't he also a vampire?" he asked

".........My father, he left the underworld when I was 10years old, he had business in the human world more specifically in Great Britain he later died due to starvation" I said sadly

"I'm sorry about that but can vampires die of starvation?"

I nodded "vampires also need to drink blood if not they'll become weak and die pureblood vampires are not like regular vampires we cannot survive only on tomato juice or plasma or any imitation of blood pureblood need human blood father died because he did not drink human blood if he did he would've......he would've...... he would've still been here with us" I stated
