It was the last day of their short vacation and Jungkook started the day with a killing headache. He was never a fan of hangovers but hangovers was worse than usual when you had done some big ass stupid shit while you were drunk.

"Ughhhh..." Jungkook groaned as he watched himself from the bathroom mirror. The stranger in the reflection kept looking right back at him with tired eyes. Hot water ran down against his body, a sigh escaped his lips. The water wasn't too hot but the perfect temperature for a morning shower. It was comforting and somewhat calmed Jungkook's racing mind. He closed his eyes and felt only the warmth for a while, that was until last night's nightmare came clashing at him. Jimin drowning and himself trying to get to him. Jimin drowned anyway. Jungkook opened his eyes with a start.

Leaning on to the bathroom wall he pushed his wet hair back. He remembered Jimin's shadow in the darkness, in his room yesterday, trying to calm Jungkook after his nightmare. His lullaby of a voice asking Jungkook to go to sleep because they'll talk tomorrow.

Jimin promised to give Jungkook the answers he was seeking for a week. But now, Jungkook wasn't sure if he really wanted to hear them. Jimin's reasons, he wasn't sure he would be able to bear the weight of them. Jungkook rewinded Jimin's words from last night on his mind.

"And it was the realest thing I've ever felt too. I'm sorry I tried to convince you otherwise."

Maybe Jungkook could settle with that only.

Knowing that Jimin didn't regret their time together,  that  whatever happened a week ago Jungkook still meant something to Jimin. Everything that happened yesterday proved it. The way Jimin showed up at the restaurant just in few minutes after being called, the way he let Jungkook rest his head on him during the car ride, the way he tried to save him from Namjoon's anger eventhough he didn't deserve to be saved, all those things told Jungkook that Jimin still cared about him and the knowledge helped Jungkook to breathe much easier.

While he regretted more than half of the things he had done yesterday, part of him was secretly glad that his drunk ass was brave enough to finally confront Jimin.

And as for the regrets, talking to Namjoon rudely and making Taehyung worry sat on the top. He flushed remembering the way he yell at their leader in front of everyone. Jungkook knew Namjoon would forgive him, all his hyungs would but still he felt guilty and ashamed. He should have known better. And now thank to his stupid behaviour on previous night he had a lot of damage controlling to do before talking to Jimin.

Jungkook stepped away from the shower and wrapped himself with a towel.

"You are never getting drunk again." Jungkook murmured to himself while wiping his hair with another towel.

"Jungkook-ah, are you gonna live there forever, buddy?" Seokjin's voice came from other side of the door making Jungkook jump. Jungkook sighed to himself and went to open the door. Beyond the door Seokjin stood in front of him with a steaming tea in his hand.

"I made you a cup. Thought you'd need it with the hangover and all."

"Ugh thank you. Tea sounds good." Jungkook said rubbing his forehead. Even though his headache had lightened a bit after his shower it was still very much there. Throwing the towel aside he took the cup of tea from his brother gratefully.

"So what are the plans for today?" Seokjin asked casually.

"Umm apologising to everyone for yesterday's mess?" Jungkook said as he set his tea on the table to get dressed first.

"Ah don't worry Jungkook-ah. Those things happen sometimes. We are family."

"Hmm" Jungkook said, walking upto his closet and getting a pair of boxer briefs.
