"Here we go, folks! The competition is about to begin!"
The announcer's voice rang throughout the area.
"If you look a little to your right you will notice a table full of guns have poped up quit a while a go. When did it happen? well you don't need to know. How did it happen? Well you're in a world of magic aren't you? You tell me how it happened!"
"Anyways, the contestants must first choose a gun to complete this challenge in the way they see fit! But don't take this challenge easily now! You never know what we have planned!"
Suddenly the three steel walls lined up in front of each contestant lift themselves out of the ground and begin moving from left to right at an alarming speed, not one wall going in the same direction at the same time. Shouts of protest once again fill the area, coming from the now extremely frustrated contestants. Lucy bit down on her nail harder than before while watching the movement of the walls, unlike the other still complaining contestants, well except for 9 other contestants.
'With the walls now being able to move it would make my chances of passing this challenge a bit lower. I haven't practiced the bent bullet enough to make this shot!'
"And now, let the competition officially begin!"
Some of the contestants just randomly shot after picking their guns, hoping that their luck would help them out, but who could only count on luck to save them?
While all the other contestants wildly shot in hopes of getting through this challenge, Lucy along with 9 other contestants only stood their while contemplating all the ways to beat this challenge, this lefed the crowd to slowly build up the doubt lingering about her in their minds as they forgot what happened to the last person who provoked her.
"Why isn't she doing anything?"
"She's just probably scared of making a fool of herself when she doesn't make that shot! After all, she's just a little girl trying to act cool up there with the other experts!"
"Go home, little girl!"
Came the murmurs from the crowd of spectators. Asuka was just couldn't bear all the stupid words coming out of their mouths, but she couldn't just express the feelings she's been holding in because it could cause a problem for her big sis.
'All these people are just big meanies! But just wait until they see just how smart and amazing my big sis is!'
'And I say their lucky she's too concentrated to even notice them, or they would have turned to stone because of her glare by now...'
"Ok contestants! Time's almost up! Only one minute to go!"
A line of protests came from contestants who have yet made them shots after hearing the words that came from the announcer, after all, they weren't informed of a time limit!
"Oh, I didn't tell you about a time limit? Oh well! There's one now!"
"But that's not fair, you! You ingrate!" Came the loud protest from the green-haired mother of the little cowgirl speculating from the crowd.
"Well suck it up buttercup! Life's not fair! I make the rules and you follow, if you don't like it then drop out!"
And that instantly shut the greenette up.
Lucy ignored all the noise around her and picked up a relatively small gun while counting down the amount of time she had left.
49...
The crowd soon took notice of the previously still girl picking up a gun from the table, and once again started their annoying mocking.
"Oh! She wants to do something now! Well, it's too late now girly!"
