The Protectors

"Jp I am going to rip your fucking throat out right now."

The sweet sound of siblings wanting to kill each other. The sound that I wake up to every day.

I drag myself out of bed and get dressed in my usual attire; black skinny jeans, skin-tight shirt and black combat boots.
I threw my hair up into a ponytail and walked into the kitchen to see the whole living room and kitchen is decked out in Jesse's clothes.

"Jp how many times do I have to tell you to stop messing with your sister this early in the morning," I all but yelled at Jp, making him jump and drop his bagel onto the floor.

"Sorry Dagger," Jp replied frowning, staring down at his fallen breakfast.
As I roll my eyes at Jp, I see Jesse struggling to keep her self at bay.

"Jp you're in trouble, you bastard. That is the fourth time you've made your sister change from in this past week, and it's only Tuesday, dammit. Now clean this up while I try to calm your sister down".

I walked over to Jesse and just stood there in front of her waiting for her to calm down, sending her clips of happier thoughts into her mind to help her control herself.

By the time Jp is finished with cleaning up Jesse's clothing, Jesse has finally calmed down and instead is glaring at her twin.

After Jesse was settled, I walked to the stairs and yelled up to the rest of the clan.

"You all have one minute to come down here, I have an announcement."

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Autumn sleeping in her cereal bowl.
"Audi what time did you go to bed last night?"

Instead of responding she looks at me and puts up five fingers.

"5:00?!? What the hell were you doing?"

"I was playing Call Of Duty with Jp," She replied.

Of course they were. Sometimes I hate being the oldest supernatural in the clan. After Autumn cleans her face off and the twins come into the kitchen I make the announcement.

"Alright, the hunters have doubled in California.  They have taken over two werewolf packs and one vampire clan. So we have to go to Cali and destroy them. Pack your stuff we leave tomorrow," I said looking grim.

"What?!?" Audi replied, "What about my lighter collection?"

"You can bring it with you Audi," I groaned. Last time we moved locations, I didn't let her bring her lighter collection, and she burnt the inside of my car. That girl cannot control her anger. But I love Audi, she is my only living family after all.

Audi has a bit of a problem with alcohol, me having to hold her head above the toilet too many times to count.

Now that we're moving to California, I hope she stays with the twins and doesn't get into anymore trouble, but I guess we will find out once we get there.

As everyone leaves to pack, I have one thought going in my head, tomorrow will be a very long day.
