Beep, beep, beep.
Slamming my hand onto my alarm clock, I pull myself out of bed to get ready for the long day ahead.
I gather up all of my things, really only being a duffle bag and a suitcase, hauling them downstairs.
Seeing no one up yet, I quickly go back up stairs and change into the outfit that I set out for myself before packing. After I'm done, I walk down the stairs and see the living room filled with suitcases and boxes.
Everything was packed up in the house, except for the ps3 and television.
I look over to see Audi and Jp playing Call of Duty Ghost.I sigh, looking at my watch before yelling at them,
"Yo! Pack it up, time to go. You can play when we get to California."
No response from them.
"HEY, GET YOUR LAZY ASSES UP AND PACK IT UP! NOW!" They both jump up. JP squeals like a little girl, before quickly unplugging the Ps3 and tv from the wall.
"Seriously Dagger? Why must you scream into my ear?" Jp exclaims to me with wide eyes and a slight shake to his words.
"Because you both were ignoring me and I got pissed," I replied. "Hey where is your sister?"
"Right here!" Jesse yells, barreling down the stairs with heavy feet.
"Alright, now that we are all here, let's go."
We all grab our bags and head to my truck, me taking the end of the line, making sure we have not forgotten anything.
As we piled the bags in the bed of my truck, I take one more look at the house. This is the third house in six months, this house not having much affect on me anymore.
"On the road we go!" The twins exclaim. Moving is like this every time.
After three hours on the road we decide to stop at a small diner.
Audi has been pestering me on buying a lighter that says Missouri on it, wanting to make the most of our time on the road.
We sit down at a table and order our food. Our poor waitress gets bombared with questions by none other than JP. After twenty minutes of waiting we finally get our food."Owww!" I look over and Jp is holding his bright red hand.
"What happened?" I ask him.
"Jesse slapped me after I went to take a fry off of her plate!" Jp exclaims.
I look over at Jesse, as she shrugs and continues to eat her burger.
I roll my eyes and ask for the check, quickly throwing a hundred down on the table. As we all get up and walk out of the restaurant, something catches Audi's attention.
"Dagger!" Audi yells with excitement.
"Yo," I reply.
"Can we go in there?" She screams.
I follow her finger to where she is pointing. I look at them and nod with a smirk on my face.
The weapon shop is huge! Being protectors we all have a weapon of choice.
My weapon of choice is knives and daggers. Anything that has a sharp blade is my favorite. But my all time favorite knife is my handy butterfly knife. Audi's preference is fire. Anything that has to do with fire Audi loves. Jesse loves the bow. She loves to find different arrows when we go somewhere. She likes anything sharp and scary. Lastly, Jp likes guns. Hand guns, shot guns, and even assault rifles are his love. He can shoot at target and hit the bulls eye from 1000 feet away.
We walk into the weapon shop and the man behind the counter looks up in surprise.
"What can I do for ya?" He asks looking at me.
"Do you have any daggers?" I ask him.
He looks at me and smiles. Then walks over to his right.
"Right here," I look over and my smirk grows. I probably look like a kid in a candy store. I like this place. Too bad we aren't but passing through.
Thanks for continuing on with this.
