"So you're going on another tour?" Jennifer asked a bit disappointed and I nodded. "It starts in September though. I worked things out with Michael and Simon and now I can be here for you munchkin"I saw her smile and she hugged me. I hugged her back and kissed her forehead.
"Tell us more about the tour, if you can" Billie asked and I nodded. "Well it's only 8 shows and it's only in the big cities here in Texas. So it won't be that long of a tour. Maybe 2 months"
"At least it's not 5 months" my dad said and I chuckled. "Yeah, at least it's not 5 months. I'll be back for the holidays for sure"
I looked at Billie.
"Jennifer said you write music? And sing?"I asked Billie and she nodded. "That's like a hobby though, dancing is my main thing. I want to make a career out of that"
"What if I offered you something?"
She tilted her head at me in confusion.
"How would you like to be a backup dancer in my tour? And you could probably even help me write music" her eyes lit up in shock.
"R-really?"
"Of course. I'm always looking for someone new that can help me" I smiled.
"I would love that! Yes" everyone cheered and I saw her blush and I smiled. "I can call in a meeting to introduce you to my manager and the British man that's my boss, I guess"
"Alexis, how's college?"
"Tiring" she chuckled. "But it's not that bad. It's actually better than high school"
"I wonder how it feels to go to college when I almost didn't graduate" I laughed.
"Okay everyone! To lift the mood up a little bit, how about we ask Y/N to sing for us?" Aunt Jesica asked and everyone agreed with her and I laughed. "Okay Okay! I'll sing for you, my lovely people. Y'all just have to tell me what song" I got up standing in front of them and got the karaoke machine. I connected it to my phone and handed my phone to Alexis.
The music to Strangers started playing as Alexis raised the volume by a ton. I laughed.
"Billie, why don't you join me?" She blushes and nodded getting up and standing next to me. I started singing.
