BETH'S POV

"I want a drink," i said as Daryl was looking at the ground. He said nothing.
"Daryl?" I half asked, knowing that i won't get any answer.
I decided that i will go get a damn drink by myself. I wanted one to get my mind off a bit and i could take care of myself. I can survive without that damn redneck.
"Fine! I'll go look for it by myself!" I said as i grabbed a knife from the fallen tree and stood up.
I was walking trough the woods and tried to stay calm and quiet so i won't get seen. Just then i heard leaf crunching few meters away from me. I took my knife and held it in front of me.
I tought it was a walker but when the thing poked me on the arm i saw the man. Daryl.
"You followed me?" I asked confused. Why the hell would he follow me? Who am i to him? Nobody.
He just muttered something and started walking. I followed.
After few minutes we came to somewhere i was sure i have already seen before. Our camp.
"Really? You brought me back to the camp?" I said angrily.
"Mhm," he just said and sat down.
I rolled my eyes and plopped next to him.
After few minutes of the awkward silence we heard growling in the not so far distance.
"Beth! Get your things! Let's get moving!" He said eagerly and i obeyed. I quickly grabbed my things and made sure i had my knife in my hand and ran after him.

After a while we stopped.
"Golfers like to booze it up, right?" I wasn't expecting an answer but i didn't really care anymore. I just wanted a drink.
"Hmh..." was all he said.
Then we started running towards the contry club because the herd of walkers was getting closer and closer.
We opened the door that somehow wasn't locked and Daryl shut the door behind him making sure it was locked.
"You stay here, imma go make sure everything is clear," bastard.
"No, i'll come with you. I'm old enough and i can take care of myself," i said a little scared but didn't want to show it to him.
"Sure you can, Greene," he said with a damn smirk and we started walking in.
We passed some walkers hanging from the cealing but Daryl ignored them.
"Shoot them," i said.
"I ain't wasting an arrow on those fuckers. They gave up and chose their faith," me said without any emotion.
I pretended i ignored him but deep inside i remember how i wanted to kill myself back at the farm when everything started. I looked to the ground and we continued exploring the place.
Daryl started putting some jewerly and money into a bag he found and put it over his back.
"Why you taking that? It doesn't matter anymore," i asked still confused why he was taking all that stuff. Was it because of his past?
He just ignored me and i seperated from him. He soon followed.
In between the hallway there was a big wallclock leaning down so Daryl picked it up and put it back to it's place. Just then the clock made a loud noise that could attract walkers. A lot of them actually.
"Let's go!" Daryl whispershouted at me and we went to the basement. He closed the door behind him.
On the way we only had to kill a couple of walkers but few of them were still after us. So we decided to stay down there with the closed doors.
"That was close," i said with realief and a small smile on my lips.
"Yeah," he said. I don't if it was real or not bit i'm sure that i saw a small smile appear on his lips as well.
I turned around and i saw a dead woman on a stand with blonde hair a nice blouse, pearls around her neck and a sing on her belly. My mouth fell opened as i saw what it said. It reminded me of what people at school used to call me. Rich bitch.
I tryed to take her off but she was too heavy.
"Hey, help me take her off," i said to Daryl. I tought he would ignore me but he turned back to me.
"Why?" He asked.
I just looked at him with said eyes and he picked up a navy blue blanket and put it over her.
I smiled. He actually cared.

We then continued looking around the country club and we seperated for a while. He was trying to find food or anything usefull while i was looking for alcohol.
I found a shelf and there was a bottle of some sort of red wine on the top.
I carefully climbed up. As i reached for it something else fell to the floor making a loud metalic sound. I quickly grabbed the bottle and went down of the shelf.
As i was about to exit there was already a walker near me.
I loudly gasped as i couldn't grab the knife from my belt so i just used the bottle and knicked him down.
I was panting hard when i heard something behind me. I quickly turned around ready to attack but it was just Daryl.
"Thanks for the help," i said sarcastically.
"You said you could take care of yourself and you did, Greene."
I ignored him and we went back upstairs to the big hall with the bar and i was hoping to find some alcohol.
