everybody was gathered in the living room

the adults were all laughing and chatting while the kids awkwardly sat on their phones

"Jungkook I hope you and y/n get along in school"

you scoff at your mothers words and Jungkook clears his throat

"we don't really talk much"
he says awkwardly

"I'm sure you two will become good friends since your family will be having dinner with us more often"
Your mom smiles

"oh dear god"
you mutter under your breath annoyed

"y/n honey you're so beautiful i'm sure you must have a boyfriend"
Jungkooks mother says giggling

Jungkook let's out the ugliest cackle you've ever heard and you glare at him while everybody's gaze turns to him

he immediately pretends to cough and slaps his chest

"sorry"
he says

"uh no aha I don't have a boyfriend" you awkwardly chuckle

Jungkooks moms eyes glisten with excitement and she wiggles her eyebrows at Jungkook

your brother says louder than he anticipated

since you were sitting next to him you pull his hair and he squeals

"okay you two better stop acting like children"
your father says sternly

your brother didn't react to your father instead he just slightly rolls his eyes

as much as you and jae would hate to admit it, you've grown to despise your father for what he's been doing

Jungkook notices how both your and your brothers facial expression completely changes after your father speaks

"I'm just gonna use the bathroom"
You excuse yourself from the suffocating atmosphere and walk upstairs

you walk into the bathroom and turn on the tap (or faucet if you fancy like that, i know someone gonna be like FAANCY YOUUU in the comments so i wanted to do it first) and splash your face with water

after drying and calming yourself down you open the door being greeted with Jungkooks face

"what"

"They told me to check if you were okay or whatever"
Jungkook says while you walking out the bathroom

"i'm fine what's the big deal"

"You know I thought you were some heartless bitch but you're just hiding how weak you are"
Jungkook says leaning his face down to your level

"the fuck are you on about"
you narrow your eyes at him and he grins

"something about you just gets under my skin y/n"

you smirk at him moving closer towards him

you place your hands on his chest as if your going to remove his shirt

he grabs your wrists pulling you into him

"you have no idea what you're doing y/n"

"get off"
he snatches your arms off him and you laugh walking away from him, back into the living room
