Ellen's View
It's been a year since my family and I moved here to Seattle. Everything was fine until I got into high school.

That's when the hell started. There's one guy who feeds on the feeling that he's stronger than the others.

* A year ago *

The holidays were over and I had to get into high school here. Most people dress up beautifully the first day, but I don't. I'm the kind of girl who doesn't pull out, I'm kind of invisible - I'm trying to be.

Over the holidays, I found a friend here named Angie, she's my only friend here. But she goes to another class. "Well, good luck, I'm sure you can do it" Angie sayed

"Thank you, I hope so. See you at the break " I hugged her and walked towards the lockers, but I accidentally bumped into one of the boys

"Look where you're stepping, you stupid" he said.

"Sorry" I single-handedly answered
"I begged" He replied arrogantly.  I heard taunts from the guys across the hall, the kid went straight to them, so I assume his friends. They slapped each other and looked at me like I was some kind of clown.

But one of them smiled at me, smiled nicely. I smiled back, and then I saw the boy slap him.

Must be a pretty freak. I thought.

It rang and I went to the principal's office. I took all my needy things, such as textbooks and a schedule.

"Miss Smith, I'll walk you to class" So I followed the headmistress. We walked for a good ten minutes and we finally stopped, I'm not going to lie...my legs were already hurting horribly.

The head of this building knocked on the door and opened. They all stood up with the sign of greeting and listened carefully to what the headmistress said. "Hello, sit down. There's a new student" Everyone put their eyes in my direction and I started sweating.
"She moved here from a great distance, so I hope you'll be nice and she'll feel at home here"

I was looking at the classroom cell, and my eye stayed on the kid I saw this morning. He had light curly hair, a sharp jaw and a smile on his face. He waved that I should walk towards him, until now I noticed that he had a seat next to him. So I sat down with him and said hello in a whisper. "Hi, I'm Ellen"
"Ethan" we shook hands and smiled. "Will you introduce yourself to us, Miss?' Mr.Teacher asked.
Ethan turned to me and started giggle. He has such an infectious laugh, I had to giggle too. "Of course, Lord, my name is Ellen, I'm 17 and I like to cheer" I replied succinctly. "Well Ellen, you can sit down" Teacher said.

"Mmm, so cheerleader?"
Ethan asked, and eyebrows began to vibrate.  He has beautiful eyes, blue as the ocean.

"Yes, I'm going to sign up here" "Excellent! You'll cheer for me " He winked. "I play football here " he patted his chest, and I had to start laughing, but quietly. I don't want trouble.

The rest of the day was fine, Ethan and I saw each other three more times because we each have different objects. He seems like a fine guy.

But then I thought...How can he talk to someone so selfish? I mean, the kid I bumped into. And now my mind has been left to a selfish boy whose name I don't know.
