Perfection - 1

"Hey, don't you turn your back on me!"Cher roared as soon as Meryl started walking out.

"And what are you gonna do, huh?"Meryl asked and faced Cher again.

"I'm tired of having this fight with you over and over again."Meryl said and Cher sighed.

"Then what do you wanna do, Mary Louise?You have been ignoring me for days, you said it's for work but then you are spotted having a date with your leading man. Great."Cher said sounding more upset.

"I am now gonna tell you this for the millionth time, we are just friends and I am not ignoring you, I am working."Meryl said sternly as she walk closer to Cher.

"You should've atleast texted me. I can understand if you only send me one text a day."Cher said almost a whisper and started walking to their bedroom.

Meryl heaved a deep sighed and buried her face on her palms.

"Oh God."She whispered not knowing what to do.

She made Cher so jealous of her workmate and she made Cher jealous of her work.

Meryl sat on their living room sofa thinking what to do with she and Cher's situation. A few moments later, she saw Cher fully dressed.

"Where are you going?"Meryl asked.

"I don't know. Away from here maybe."Cher answered and started walking out of the house.

Meryl immediately got up and ran towards Cher. She hugged her tight from behind but Cher just stood still.

"I'm sorry."Meryl whispered.

"You should know that it's not the first time that--that thing happened."Cher said in a low voice.

"Yeah, I know."Meryl replied getting upset of herself.

"Wanna go skinny dipping?First way to make it up to you babe."Meryl suggested.

"Why don't you go skinny dipping with your leading man?Or go skinny dipping at your work."Cher said and removed Meryl's arms around her waist.

"Cherilyn, please?"Meryl said holding Cher's wrist.

"No. I don't wanna feel so important when you are not working and when you are working already, I am just this bitch who wants your attention and I'm getting tired of that situation."Cher said and ran away from Meryl.

When Cher's gone from Meryl's sight, reality hit her. Cher is right. She just make her feel so important when she isn't busy and she is now starting to hate herself because of it.

Meryl grabbed her phone and dialled Pauly's number and she thanked God she answered.

"Hi, Meryl."Pauly greeted with full of glee.

"Hey, Paul. Are you with Cher?"She asked.

"No, I'm not with her yet but I am on the way to the studio where we'll shoot something about the elections."Pauly explained and Meryl nodded.

"She have a shooting and she didn't tell me."Meryl said with disappointment.

"Are you two fighting?"Pauly asked and raised her brow, as if Meryl can see.

"Yes, we are."Meryl answered.

"She is just getting so jelly, she'll get over it."Pauly said and Mery looked down.

"I hope so."She said almost a whisper.

"Uhmmm Paul, can you look over her for me, update me."She said all of a sudden.

"Sure, sure. By the way, she is with Kathy."Pauly replied and her eyes went round.

"Kathy Griffin."Meryl said looking at her left ring finger.

"Don't worry about it, I'll look over her, I promise."Pauly said and she nodded.

"Yeah, thanks Pauly."Meryl uttered and ended the call.

Meryl sat for a couple of moments until she thought of something.

She immediately texted Paulette and changed her clothes.

She grabbed her car keys and drove to Cher's favorite dessert stall. She bought Cher's favorite ice cream and she also bought a boquet of flowers for her.

Meanwhile, Cher is infront of the camera with Kathy Griffin who is joking and joking and it is kind of annoying her.

"I'm Cher and I approve this message."Kathy said impersonating Cher and Cher just rolled her eyeballs.

When Kathy sang a line from Turn Back Time, Cher looked at her.

"Shut up Kathleen, we're suppose to be serious here!"Cher yelled and the moment she looked at the camera again, she saw Meryl from afar, watching them.

Meryl waved at her and she just stared at her. Meryl lifted up her favorite ice cream and that made Cher smile.

"Can we just finish this fast?"Cher suddenly asked and the staff agreed to her.

As soon as they finished shooting, she went immediately to Meryl who is still in the corner holding Cher's ice cream.

"Hey."Cher called her.

"Hi."Meryl replied and she hugged Cher with one arm.

"Let me take this."Cher said, grabbing the ice cream from her hand.

"Most of it is already melted."Meryl said shyly but Cher just kissed her head.

Cher started eating the ice cream and Meryl hugged her from behind.

"If you're jealous of Kathy, there's is nothing to be jealous about."Cher said and Meryl chuckled.

"I am not saying anything."Meryl said and Cher looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"Hey, trust me, I'm not jealous."Meryl said assuring Cher and she gave a smack kiss on Cher's lips.

"Hmm the ice cream's good."Meryl said and Cher pinched her nose.

"I'm still upset in case you forgot."Cher said and Meryl frowned.

"I'm sorry, okay?I wasn't thinking and I didn't realize that me being a workaholic is hurting you."Meryl said and Cher sighed.

"It's okay with me if you're a workaholic but my point is, I want you to just text me, to assure me that you are doing okay because I care so much about you and I love you so much."Cher said and Meryl's heart just melted hearing Cher's words.

"I love you too so much and I'm really sorry."Meryl whispered and Cher kissed her forehead.

"Please, don't do it again."Cher said and Meryl hugged her tighter.

"I won't."She replied.

"Hey, love birds."A voice called them and they both looked up.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your moment but I just wanted to say bye and hi to you Meryl."Kathy Griffin said and the two smiled.

Meryl kissed her cheek and Cher hugged her but not that long.

"Take care Kathy."The two said and they watched Kathy leave.

"Wanna go on a date, mrs. Streep?"Meryl asked Cher and Cher chortled.

"Sure, mrs. Cher."Cher replied and they kissed.

Cher wanted to take it further but Meryl pulled back and that made Cher frown.

"Don't show me that face Cherilyn, I promise you after our date I'll kiss you all night, if you want."Meryl said and she winked at her.

"Okay, Mary Louise. Just don't break your promise, you know me when you break your promise, I get to be feisty."Cher said in a low voice that turns Meryl on.

"Hmmm, I love it when you are feisty."Meryl whispered seductively and Cher just hummed.
