Mike's death left the whole gang devastated. Mia couldn't believe that her long time lover since high school had died , especially when they had a baby on the way, Marcus wouldn't stop beating himself up because he believes that he failed himself & his childhood best friend & the thought of realizing his late brother is not late at all made things worse for him , Wayne was sent to the hospital after his accident , The police wanted answers , that is why Marcus went into hiding.
The new morning came & Everyone went to the grave yard to lay Micheal down to rest.everyone except Marcus.
"Dearly beloved we are gathered here to put this young man to rest... God bless Micheal's soul for he has touched many lives during his years of living, it my be a sad dark cloud for all his closest friends And family but remember, everything happens for a reason . May Micheal's Soul Rest In Peace .Amen."
Onika was busy comforting Mia , She broke down in tears as she watched Micheal's Cascade slowly going down ,Cardi along with 2 of the Top 5 members , Khaled & Jennifer Lopez were there as well.
The Cascade finally went down and the diggers started to fill the hole up with soil... which made Mia cry harder for her late husband. The funeral was over , Onika accompanied Mia to the limousine they came with & they both got in then it drove out of the cemetery.
Cardi wanted to talk to Khaled & Mrs Lopez & see if they could find a way to become business partners In the drug dealing world again.
"I was hoping we could turn on a new leaf. I'm still the best at what I do & I know I can give you the best quality of drugs." She spoke to them
"Your setbacks were also our setbacks , i lost a lot of men & A lot of money this month." Khaled complained
"How can we ever trust you . besides by the looks of the funeral . Someone out there wants you dead & the police are looking for answers ."
"And we cant be in contact with y'all, it's best we keep a far distance from all of you. Especially O'Neil , he didn't show up to his own friend's funeral for a reason.... I'm sorry." Khaled Said & for into his Aston Martin along with Jennifer Lopez , they drove out of the area & left. Cardi was a little frustrated
Meanwhile Marcus was in a one room motel , trying drink his pain away & heal his heart with vodka but it didn't work , it just made him drunk & depressed. He eyes were red from all the crying. Someone knocked on his door , he looked at the door for a while & got up from his crusty bed .... he limped to the door with a half empty bottle in his hand & opened the door .
"Onika ..." he said as she found her on the doorstep , still wearing a black dress from the funeral, they stared At each other without uttering one word at all and suddenly they hugged each other tightly. Marcus began to cry on Onika's shoulder & she rubbed his back to comfort him , this means that they have reconciled & Onika has forgiven him.
Later
They sat down on the bed and talked.
"The funeral was okay... they gave him a proper sending off." Onika explained .
"How's Mia?" Marcus asked with a low voice
"She's still hurting , pretty badly." She answered him .Marcus held his head & moaned deeply
"This is all my fault." Marcus mumbled
"No it's not . You did your best."
