Gridelhorn swiftly walked down the streets of Atlantis, Maneuvering expertly through the streets of Atlantis. He lifted up a glittering, pearly-gold horn. Bringing it through the folds of his cape, he whispered something in a harsh, gravelly tongue. A whisp of glittery magic formed a line through the street. But, it led to a crowd of elves. Under his breath, he whispered, "This won't do" So, he took to the air on his leathery wings, A cruel reminder of his former status. Normally, the appearance of an ex-dragon in one of the lost cities would cause a national emergency as an act of war, but, Grindelhorn had activated his magical stealth, using some of the last power of the Alicorns he had hunted Millenia. Gliding, he followed the trail.

The trail finally ended at a fancy building guarded by two elves. He released his stealth. The two young elves immediately straightened.

"Who are you?" one of them said. With one quick flick of his wrist, Grindelhorn stabbed the guard who spoke in the heart with his horn. inhaling quickly, he drew the horn close to his body while grabbing the other guard by the neck. A thick, gooey, purple substance had started oozing out of the first guard's wound. Grindelhorn stopped glaring at the guard in his hand just long enough to consume the goo, turning the first guard into a shriveled husk. The sight of a scaly creature with two blood-red horns sucking the life-juices out of his friend proved too much to bear for the poor guard as his irises split into a million pieces, which was a clear sign to Grindelhorn that the second guard's mind was shattered, but just in case, Grindelhorn planted his lips on the shattered soul's lips and sucked, consuming his magic too. Free of the guards, Grindelhorn entered the building. The First room was a magnificent throne room. An elf was lounging on a couch where a throne should be. The elf had shoulder-length brown hair, dark skin, and sapphire blue eyes. When the elf saw the intruder he immediately said,

"You-" he was cut off by the beam of blue light Grindelhorn shot at him, adopting his appearance. But, he was not the only one to change the elf's elegant demeanor instantly disappeared with his appearance, revealing the hungry elf with one hand and a nub where the other had been burned off. Where the previous demeanor was elegant, now he has the demeanor of a person on the run, fear, hunger, and anger mixed into one.

"Brant" yelled Grindelhorn.

"How did you know!" Whimpered Brant. Screaming began to be heard outside.

"Emery had disappeared from his castle, and you were the only other intelligent creature that knew a morphing spell. Where is he."

Gathering a bit of courage, Brant growled,"I'll never tell you!" Instantly, a giant shard of ice appeared 3 inches off Brant's chest, right over his heart. And started to get closer. A bead of sweat hit the floor. Losing both his bark and his bite, Brant yelped, "Okay! I'll retrieve him!". The screams got closer. And. Closer. Brant Snapped and a fireball the size of a car appeared in the middle of the room. Then, it dissipated, revealing a sleeping body. Someone banged on the door. As that person opened the door Grindelhorn gripped the real Emery and, using the last of his power, teleported away. Right before disappearing, he heard Brant yell,

"Wait! Take Me--"
