The Re-homing Domes

I'll admit that this is the easiest to explain and the hardest. Well, the simple part is that they are huge balls of glass.Glass domes that can be about as big as a cathedral. That may not sound super big but these domes are completely empty and reach halfway to the clouds, completely lined with white sealing to keep any air out or inside the domes.

Why do they exist?

They are simply for transferring those who have survived the rebirth to recover and relearn all the ways to be a citizen of Geminisi. These domes are ruled by Naku, a goddess who controls all the advanced technology in Gemini and also the way we digest news and entertainment. They are just big domes of glass but they can be controlled by those inside the domes with the power of creativity and imagination. God is not allowed inside the domes while there is seka inside.

To put it simply, they are a world for the newborn seka to live through before they are able to live in Gemini. The science behind this idea has been....sketchy and dangerous at best but many do successfully live outside the dome in peace.

The safety measures

To be honest, many people voted against the whole "dome" idea. It was originally designed to create the perfect seka and abuse the creative system by allowing people to change their children by repeating the process until results. We have taken down that idea years ago and rebuilt it on a little shelter, an open space where children can continue with the new world with new rules.

Re-Birth

There is one rule that everyone lives by, "Death Is Gods Release".Except for many races, death doesn't exactly catch them. Seka doesn't exactly live and die like a person, more like is forced into the cycle with a different mindset.

The world of Geminisi is a world that can't exactly keep itself going for too long. The world is like a program, it runs out of time and starts to expire to make sure it runs smoother on the restart. Like when you download too many add-ons and end up crashing your computer and then reboot up a previous save but it doesn't contain any of your actual games/software or pictures so you have to install it all again.

Make sense?

Well, think of it as a bounce. It goes inside itself, killing off all the extra unnecessary things before bouncing back out with the same world layout but new people and different locations if it fails to rebirth correctly.

This is what is known as "rebirth" and it used to happen every 30 years but now is more like 50 or 60. The times between rebirths gets longer when civilizations evolve and the world gets more and more advanced and easier to smoothly run the world...ANNND THERES THE PROBLEM...

The problem with rebirths

Well like I said, it gets easier for the world of geminisi to spin without rebirthing and year's pass by but why? The truth isn't exactly pretty.

In order for geminisi to continue without a constant rebirth, the rebirths get limited but much stronger. The longer the time needed to run the program the more MB it takes up, right? It's like that. It needs to be stronger and more powerful to store all the data that geminisi holds!

Why is this a problem? Well, worlds don't exactly work like a computer. Geminisi may be a more advanced world but that doesn't mean it's not still just a planet or something similar, not a computer. It can't just "Upgrade it's storage" or "Get a faster processor".It's not a sci-fi virtual world or anything, it can't get any stronger then it already is.

This is a problem because as life goes on, more people are born. Seka is created and raised and bring in more advancements in that weren't in the previous world decades ago. There needs to be more space for all these extra things that didn't exist like population increases and cars and trains.Mountains that have crumbled and city's full of buzzing career paths with many adults using that space to bring in things like animals and machines.

So how do you fix a problem with space? Well it's simple. You either make more space..or you take some of what is already there out, you delete unneeded data to make room for the more important things. Can you see the problem now? In order to keep geminisi alive and thriving for many more years without rebooting, the only solution is to get rid of those useless parts that make it lag.

For this to continue, a goddess, Aya, was created. She was the goddess of judgement. Her existence was to judge the world and choose what she felt was important and unimportant to geminisi. She would simply leave them in the expiring geminsi if she agreed that they or whatever was chosen was not needed.

That meant any child who she saw evil in, any unsuccessful adult, and most animals leaving only a few left, they were all left behind in the last rebirth.Thats why the new geminisi is as it is.Every new rebirth plays the same trial and there is always leftover anger and resentment towards the one who casts that judgement in the first place.Data can be anything from a toddler to a dying tree or a certain location. The rebirth only carries what aya picks as a importance and that's what seka awake to see once they come back from the domes that introduce the new world, the one that went through the rebirth and is now reborn.

Does it make any sense to you? I don't know how to explain it simpler or nicer.

That's alot to learn about so let's leave it here and go onto our next course when you are ready!

See you in the Legendary Course!
