Chapter One~
Silence. Concentrate. Our timing must be absolutely perfect. Kaori thought anxiously.
"Breathe Kaori, must you always be so...weird?" Suki asked, walking straight past her, walking into the open door of hell.
"Suki, careful! It might be trapped with numerous varieties of nets and spikes!" Kaori hissed.
"Oh please…" Suki rolled her eyes, as she walked into DWMA, school for meisters and weapons and so on. Suki and Kaori had just enrolled at this school. They had only heard about it a few weeks ago, after they got a letter from Lord Death himself to attend his school. There wasn't a single who person who didn't know them. They were famous for their ability and success. Even Lord Death was cautious of them. Suki had become a death scythe for over four years now, they had excelled in combat. Though, they were still extremely stubborn, childish, and typical 15 year old girls.
"Everyone is staring at us" Kaori said, creeped out.
"Just smile and be polite Kaori, try not to mess this up for us, I want this to work out" Suki tried not to sound like she was begging, but she really wanted to stay at this school. It seemed like a much needed haven.
Until they met their new teacher, Dr Stein. He was creepy, and the smell of his cigarette choked both of the girls.
"Hey, you can't smoke in here…" Suki said, holding her breath.
"Hmm, so here are the famous guests we've been waiting so long to meet" he tilted his head to the side, smiling madly. Suki sighed, where they ever going to escape being recognised?

In class later on, Kaori was asleep, snoring loudly at her desk, face down.
"Kaori, what is the answer to my question?" Stein asked. He thought he had her, but Kaori was better than that.
"The left atrium" She said, going back to sleep. The whole class had erupted in laughter, as they thought it was the wrong answer.
"Correct" Stein said through gritted teeth. The laughter stopped immediately.
Suki rolled her eyes, Kaori may look asleep, but her brain as hard at work, possibly deciding what they're going to have for dinner in a months time?
Suki felt eyes on her, by instinct she turned to look. Some weird kid was staring at her. With black hair and three white stripes, and some weird skull on his collar….oh! Suki thought, it was Lord Death's son, at that moment he looked away. He looked at her with, jealousy was it? Suki smirked to herself.

After class, Kaori had been like a firework, bouncing around everywhere, as if this sleep was so uplifting, and made her feel energized. Suki sighed.
"Please, just stop drawing attention to us! It's embarrassing!" Suki pleaded.
"Oh, loosen up Suki, I'm just having a bit of fun…" She said with a sigh.
"Yeah well you're-" Suki was cut off, before she could finish her sentence she instinctively leaned to the right, lightening fast as a fist whizzed past her, right where her neck would have been. She sighed and thought, EVERYWHERE we go! She grabbed the arm lightening fast, and pulled her attacker over her shoulder, slamming the person into the dust. They landed with an umf!
"Just what are you playing at, boy!?" Suki yelled, annoyed.
"Woohoo! What a throw!" Kaori laughed, she must've gotten out of the way sometime when Suki was talking to herself. The boy stood up.
